Sorry, but I don’t see any reason to trust TYT at all.

However, they seem to delight now (with their $20million

support) in fighting Jimmy on many issues. That’s what

      money will do.

Who opposed opposing Pelosi to get a floor vote on Medicare for All, who endorsed Biden, who endorsed Hillary, who still push Russiagate.

And how is Jimmy Dore wrong? He had one guy on his show and they had a civil political discussion. Dore hasn’t said he takes that dude’s word for it that most of the Bugaloo Boys think the way that he does, because he really doesn’t know.

Neither do I. Ana Kasparian most certainly does not, and broadbrushing all of them as “far right extremists” probably really is very simplistic. It’s certainly emotionally manipulative. She’s good at that, but she’s no journalist and no reporter. She would never dream of putting her precious self in any chance of danger.

I do not trust TYT any more than I do MSNBC or Fox.

What’s wrong with trying to find common ground among members of the working class? The very idea is certainly upsetting to some.

In a pre-COVID world, I would encourage progressives to sit down and have a beer with “Eisenhower conservatives”, if indeed you can find any such people anymore. Hell, maybe even Reagan conservatives, to some degree. Or in other words, some folks who might be wrong on the issues, but at least are starting from a point of relative sanity.

The Boogaloo Boys are NOT that. They are an insane cult who think “The Turner Diaries” were the third testament of the Bible. They think Tim McVeigh had the right idea on how to deal with the government, and that blueprint calls for killing anybody who doesn’t believe their fucked up ideology.

You can’t reason with people that demented. You cannot negotiate with them. And as Ana pointed out, you certainly cannot expect a cult who is opposed to ANY government to support Medicare for All or Green New Deal infrastructure programs.

So there’s really not a lot of reason to talk to people like that. Not all 70 million Cheeto voters were members of that cult, of course. But the ones who are…. I’ll talk to them when they get to Hell, maybe. But it wouldn’t be my recommendation for mortals. Insert analogy about “mud wrestling with pigs” here.

The boutique leftist part of the title is sarcasm mocking Jimmy for putting anarchist in his title. The video is from a real anarchist. The person Jimmy Dore interviewed is obviously a libertarian.

Also Jimmy Dore makes us look bad. Tim Black is already on our side so I don’t support pushing him out in favor of 10 to 20,000 Boogaloo Bois.

I also donated to Bernie Sanders in 2020 many times. Jimmy Dore is the one who endorsed and promoted Tulsi Gabbard.

I think it was Reagan that said, “Trust but verify”.

I ally with the DSA. Whose side are you on?

      with the guy Jimmy interviewed.

If this man is really fairly describing what the BBs stand for then we have had a terrible misunderstanding of who they are. Pretty interesting view points.

Anti racist, anti fascist, anti war, standing up for working class. Pro LGBT. Pro dialogue.

Still we cant know that this man is speaking honestly about BBs. But his own personal views are quite good.

Ingles pulls Currahee Brewing from shelves after racist ‘Boogaloo’ beer draws complaints

A brewery that produced a beer with the name of a right-wing militant “Boogaloo” movement has been pulled from the shelves of Western North Carolina’s largest grocery store chain.

            (Snip)

“As we have seen this past week we can have no tolerance for this type of rhetoric,” an Asheville resident said in an email to Ingles, referencing the violent Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection by a right-wing mob. The Citizen Times is not publishing the name of the resident who said he was concerned about reprisals from those sympathetic to the Boogaloo movement, whose members carry heavy weapons and and have been linked to violence.

            (Snip)

Currahee was ejected by the Asheville Brewers Alliance this spring after they put out the “Boogaloo Imperial Stout” with an image of George Washington wearing a Hawaiian shirt, garb associated with the Boogaloo Bois who have shown up armed at protests and state houses. Members of the movement have been charged in the ambush-style killing and wounding of police.

Agree with ohiobarbarian that having one guy on the show (who said he wasn’t a nazi) is not the same as cozying up to Nazis.

Yeah, Jimmy does criticize left politicians. It’s because he wants them to do better. He is still a progressive, he hasn’t gone right wing.

Jimmy sees the larger picture. The ruling class, MIC/CIA,WS/corporatist/

Silicon Valley powers are the fascists using their power against the “unwashed

masses”, and the Uniparty plays its game of division. Dore wants the working

class to unite to fight this system; unfortunately he seems to be talking to a wall

of divided factions. If he continues his efforts, youtube may just cut him off

totally, because any kind of this solidarity is strictly “verboten”.

There is only one course of action available to us, and that is an uprising by as many working-class people as possible, dismantling the empire, and destroying capitalism forever. Fiddle-fucking around with incrementalism ain’t gonna cut it.

Then maybe we can start working on so called ‘climate change’. There are lots of dingbat ‘progressives’ in denial about the implications of that phenomenon.

I know that if I had to listen to Ana Kasparian 24/7, it would be worse that being in the Lake of Fire.

Corporate America consists of totalitarian entities laser-focused on short-term greed.

If you just got finessed into calling the medicine that won the 2015 Nobel Prize for its role in treating human disease ‘horse de-wormer’ then you need to sit the next couple of plays out.

Among the loose online network of adherents, the boogaloo is often presented as a race-blind call for armed insurrection against government tyranny. “The boogaloo movement is (for the most part) a libertarian group,” a member posted in a boogaloo-themed Facebook group after a week of protests. “The boog is not the people vs the people, the boog is the people vs the government. It’s a revolution, not a civil war,” he wrote. Many members of the movement see the recent outbreak of protests as the potential kickoff for widespread revolutionary upheaval, where citizens will unite against the perceived tyrannical state.

But a look at the movement’s origins and its online communities make it clear that its politics are much more complicated than straightforward libertarianism, and that few of its adherents are interested in aligning with Black Lives Matter or antifascist protesters against police brutality.

Over roughly the last month, at least seven men associated with the boogaloo movement have been arrested for possession of weapons and plotting violent attacks. Three were arrested Saturday in Las Vegas after plotting to terrorize protesters and attack other targets, including a power substation. According to a criminal complaint, they wanted to “create a chaotic and confusing scene for the upcoming protest” in order to force “the government to show its hand.” Others men who associate with the boogaloo movement have been arrested in Texas, Colorado and Ohio.

The boogaloo meme itself emerged concurrently in antigovernment and white power online spaces in the early 2010s. In both of these communities, “boogaloo” was frequently associated with racist violence and, in many cases, was an explicit call for race war. Today the term is regularly deployed by white nationalists and neo-Nazis who want to see society descend into chaos so that they can come to power and build a new fascist state.

      https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/oct/23/texas-boogaloo-boi-minneapolis-police-building-george-floyd

Setting police stations on fire & killing cops doesn’t help BLM. In fact there is a lot of misinformation when it comes to Antifa & BLM. A majority of Republicans believe it was Antifa that stormed the Capitol. Joining the Boogaloo Bois makes it easier for them to blame the left for terrorist attacks and violence.

Also they won’t support Medicare for All since they are anti-Government. Even the person interviewed by Jimmy Dore said libertarians are pot smoking capitalists.

Jimmy did one interview with one guy. He never said he was joining them or that he wasn’t a progressive anymore! Jeez.

He wants to work with the Squad! What do we do when they don’t want to work for us? They should be pushing to get a Medicare for all vote. Why aren’t they? We also can’t “ally” with centrists who aren’t interested in passing anything for the people.

Jimmy went on Tucker Carlson and got shit for that too. But he changed Tucker’s mind about Julian Assange. That’s an example of why Jimmy thinks communication with the “other side” is worth it.

I knew he never was going to. Also Tucker usually only brings on guests from the left that agree with him or bash the Democratic Party. Tucker isn’t doing this to help the progressive movement. He is a propagandist helping the Republican Party.

As far as FTV I knew the progressives would vote for Pelosi. We don’t know what internal negotiations are like. I heard getting rid of the PayGo is a good thing. I trust Pramila Jayapal’s judgment when it comes to advancing M4A. I trust the Justice Democrats on knowing which Democrats to primary and replace them with representatives with working class backgrounds.

Here is what he said about Charlottesville.

Heather Heyer was killed in Charlottesville who was a Bernie Sanders supporter.

Here’s How Bernie Sanders Wants You To Honor Heather Heyer’s Memory

Following her death at the ongoing conflict in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Saturday, Sen. Bernie Sanders offered to Heather Heyer’s family via Twitter Sunday afternoon and didn’t back down from the real cause of her death. “Our condolences go out to the family of Heather Heyer who was killed by a terrorist as she protested Neo-Nazism and white supremacy,” Sanders said, continuing in separate tweets:

Heyer, a 32-year-old paralegal from Charlottesville, died Saturday while attending counter-protests for the “Unite the Right” rally. A young white supremacist protester drove his car through a crowd near the University of Virginia, killing Heyer and injuring over a dozen others. There are little to no reports of the condition of the other victims, suggesting none other than Heyer had major injuries. The suspect, who came all the way from Ohio to attend the rally, is now in custody being held on suspicion of second-degree murder, malicious wounding and failure to stop in an accident that resulted in death, according to CNN.

Sanders’ post on Heyer’s death highlights some of the forthcoming rhetorical issues surrounding the Charlottesville conflict. Historically, it has been difficult to find anyone willing to describe incidents involving the far-right as terrorism. However, a growing force of prominent figures, including Sen. Ted Cruz and National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster have used that word in connection with the events in Charlottesville.

Heyer herself was a fan of Sanders and campaigned for him via social media. Although she isn’t alive to see his tribute, there’s almost no doubt that she would have appreciated Sanders’ recognition of her work. According to her mother, Susan Bro, Heyer shared many of the same qualities as the social justice-oriented senator.

I watch Jimmy’s show regularly. He’s never said anything that made me think he’s a Nazi or white supremicist.

He still does good stories like this one, that you won’t see on mainstream TV:
