    2. Preach It Brother Jimmy – That's The Outrage I Feel In My Soul

It’s a shame what the country has become.

    3. he's been a disaster for the left. because he's black, nobody wanted

to criticize him until well into his second term, when it was far too late.

and anyone who tried it got shut down by the fake “left,” the NV left, the identity left.

for me and for many, there’s not enough time left for things to get any better.

        6. I should have said, because he's the first black prez rather than black.

Nobody (on the left/demos) wanted to criticize the first black prez (a sufficient # of mods & righties were happy to criticize the black guy)

      7. Exactly right. And Hillary would've been more of the same

      Probably worse.

The neo-liberals are using identity politics as a shield to continue rampant militarism, obscene income inequality, and corporate theft. I’m tempted to say it’s the most cynical possible ploy, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re planning something even worse that I haven’t even thought of.

        8. it's completely cynical — and self-serving. they don't care if poor gay

people marry each other, they don’t care if poor black people club together — and they themselves have always had (rich) gay friends, so they don’t care if their friends marry each other either.  and more and more you see them marrying (rich or otherwise endowed) minorities.

But what they absolutely couldn’t stand is if poor folks (and by poor I basically mean half the population) got together — especially poor folks blind to identity and other such divisions.

So they ramp it up and laugh all the way to their banks.

    9. Remember when we all (well, Jesse Jackson and I did) cry for joy…

2008 was a hopeful year for me (other story, as I came in with BB as a local govt official)… It gave us hope…

Then, it was puzzling to see his picks… But, I was busy trying to fulfill the many duties and a strong learning curve at the municipal level. Then the crash… concern for Wall Street bailout… you know the cumulative rest, as it’s been well described.

I was naive, hopeful… but, mostly naive. And, I’m running out of decades in front of me to really stand up to this kind of wasteful while tasteful affect. Then, ya fucked over Bernie with your awful SoS select-a-prez.

    Jimmy speaks for me.

    Hell no...I'm not giving up...     cat-gif-238.gif giphy.gif

      10. me too. problem is, when you're old enough to begin to understand how

royally you’ve been fooled, fucked and forgotten — you’re getting on too old to do much about it.  especially if part of the fucking included losing most of your assets, cause its well known:

    11. Damn right. Obama talked like liberal and governed like Nixon.

Blaming the voters for not having anything to vote for . . .
