Just a reminder of who we could’ve had for President

A small bird was apparently feeling the #Bern when it landed on Bernie Sanders’ podium during a rally in Portland on Friday.
To the delight of thousands in the crowd, the bird first landed on the stage and then perched on the podium.
“I think there may be some symbolism here,” Sanders said. “That bird is really a dove asking us for world peace. No more wars.”

In America, average people aren’t allowed to have nice things. Only the Rich can have a government that cares about their needs.

Never forget – as we move through the next years – it was a time of learning for all of us who had the brains to learn. There is more crisis coming we need to continue to do what we can. In Hitler’s Germany it was only a small group of people who objected to him openly but in the end they won when WWII was over.

(primarily due to ‘Russia!’ and a few other issues) but he would have been an amazing president.
If Trump and the GOP are going to call Biden a ‘socialist’, we should have run a real socialist.
The Big Lie: "Make the lie big, Make it simple, Keep saying it, And eventually they will believe it." AH.
"Arguments must therefore be crude, clear and forcible, and appeal to emotions and instincts, not the intellect." JG
National issues (slavery/racism, income inequality, pandemics and pathetic health care, weak unions) are not solved with more states' rights. Global problems (climate change, migration, trade, war, pandemics) are not solved with more nationalism.

…donated more than $50 to a charity or to a candidate. I was about to up that ante, significantly.
I knew the name Bernie Sanders well over a decade before his run.
Thanks to Thom Hartmann’s weekly, “Brunch With Bernie” hour, I fell wildly in love with this man’s ethics and with his vision on what our government could/should do for us, it’s citizenry.
My heart soared when Bernie threw his hat in the ring.
Millions of us rose to the occaision by donating to his campaign.
Although it was money I could hardly afford, my donation of $1000 was money well spent in my mind.
Our nation, our world needed this visionary man in the White House more than I needed that thousand bucks!
Then history got in the way, along came the DemoRATS who screwed the world out of Bernie Sanders.
For me, this was an even bigger betrayal than the one Pelosi performed when she took impeachment of GW Bush and his crime family off the table.
Adding dumptruck loads of rock salt to our wounds, the DemoRATS tried to ram Hillary down our throats.
In my eyes they are 100% to blame for President Trump.
Yeah…what could have been.
Meanwhile the corporatists keep on keeping on.
Trump promises them that taxes will be decreased and environmental regulations will be rolled back.
Biden likely offers the corporatists something quite similar and will throw as a cherry ontop of this cake of poo: the Trans Pacific Partnership.
What is and what could have been.
Bernie tried again but I knew that the Demorats would screw us…again…and they did.
It hardly matterd to me, I had nothing emotional or financial left in the tank.
I will not vote for either Joe or Donald.
On a related note:
My brother is diagnosed fully schizophrenic. He barely has a brain cell rooted in what we call reality.
His name for himself is “All Of Space”.
Should he hand you a marble and tell you to place it in your ear because you will age backwards, DON’T DO IT!
Trust me, don’t even touch that marble…we his family know where that marble has been!
Amusingly enough, my brother just got his ballot in the mail.
I figure my brother understood that the world was not ready to meet “All Of Space” yet…
…so he wrote the name our parents gave him wherever he could on his ballot, signed/dated it and the ballot has been sent in for him.
My brother has asked me to vote for him.
There is a very strong chance that my brother will wind up with my vote for POTUS….
….because it will make both of us feel good.
