We should have some of the weirdness fixed by tomorrow. We will have to take the site down for a few hours first. We will let you know when asap. In the meantime, you still need to have text in both the title bar and textbox. Thank you for your patience

Just for fun – forgotten English words

I just took it – and surprised the fuck out of myself –

    Remarkable!!

    Hello there Professor!
You got the highest score this test can possibly offer. It means you knew ALL (or at least 99.9%) of these unknown and forgotten English words.
You have an obsession with books and words which goes perfectly with your imaginative and innovative personality. There is a 95% chance you are an introvert.
And you definitely have a gift with words.

They fucking nailed me.  Actually, I zipped through without overthinking, and used common sense with a little logic.  And guesswork.

Or else they give the same score to everybody.

You think the only reason that people won't vote for a warmongering Third Way fracking-enabling cluster bomb throwing H-1B increasing lying pandering corporate and Wall Street shill who says she has no problem putting abortion rights on the table is because we are mad about Bernie?  Um, nope.

    1. And it doesn't matter how many you answer correctly.

I know I missed several of the early words – most of the later words are pretty common. Got “Professor”. Tried it again, deliberately answering incorrectly – still got “Professor”.

Did learn several words, though – piggesyne, for one. I did guess correctly, but had to look it up. Thanks for the link!

      5. Thus – the last line in my OP!

    7. Same here

Some of those words aren’t all that out of use/no longer to be found in printed works commonly available though.
