I never heard most of this. (Osage oil theft)  The origins of the Koch brothers split: brother Bill was Palast’s source.  Just a brief, the rest is in some film palast is doing.

Hope to get an update soon about the case against Kris Kobach.  Perhaps the court ended Interstate Cross Check as per Palast, in the move to come.

I was looking around for updates on Kobach but before I got too far I found this:

“In late 2018, Kobach joined with other right-wing political operatives, including billionaire Erik Prince, Trump adviser and former Breitbart editor Steve Bannon, Breitbart manager Brandon Darby, former Milwaukee County, Wisconsin black Sheriff David Clarke, former Congressman Tom Tancredo and social media “fake news” scion, Brian Kolfage, to form an organization to raise funds ostensibly to facilitate construction of a barrier (at the border/border wall)…(In 2019) Kobach reported that Trump endorsed the project…”

Brandon Darby??  There’s a familiar name.  He was the mole/FBI informant at Common Ground, the self-help/relief effort organized by a former Black Panther in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

Now he’s an anti-immigration operative for the fascist right.  Seeing him running with the Breitbart crowd, Bannon, Eric Prince, etc. is disturbing.

thanks @coldmountaintrail. that is a great article.

similar tragedies were playing out throughout the southern oil patches. i’m most familiar with the great wealth stolen in st Bernard and plaquimines parishes by a pair of miscreants named judge perez and doctor meraux.

i’d like to write the story some day (it involves the dynamite of the levees in the 1927 flood and convenient fires at 2 courthouses.) but I live very close to the heirs of this great fortune and value the lives of my relatives.

i was going to link a great story of “the faux mrs Meraux,” and the extreme wealth of her charitable foundation but this kind of power does exist in south louisiana ….

and then there is the famous spindletop oil field. this story begins when young pelham humphries survived the alamo and was granted a homestead by the texas government ………..

living atop a sea of oil is not necessarily a blessing, as can be  attested by millions of arabs, Venezuelans, Iranians, nigerians, etc etc etc.

      Blood & Oil

“…Koch brothers CROOKS who stole oil from poor Native Americans and were never charged…”

This is the story of a blood feud, a battle between brothers. As we told you when we first reported this story last November, the Koch family of Wichita, Kansas is among the richest in the United States, worth billions of dollars. Their oil company, Koch Industries, is bigger than Intel, Dupont or Prudential Insurance, and they own it lock stock and barrel. The trouble is a former employee says the brother who controls the company grew rich through fraud and theft, stealing from the taxpayers of the United States.Unfortunately, for Koch Industries, that disgruntled former employee was Bill Koch, one of the Koch brothers. Blood and oil has destroyed more than one American family. The question is: Was Bill Koch a renegade out to ruin his brother, or did Koch industries really operate the way he says? Scott Pelley reports. Koch says that Koch Industries engaged in “(o)rganized crime. And management driven from the top down.”

“It was – was my family company. I was out of it,” he says. “But that’s what appalled me so much… I did not want my family, my legacy, my father’s legacy to be based upon organized crime.” When Bill Koch’s father, Fred Koch, died in 1967, he passed to his sons both the oil company he created and a bit of wisdom – stand up for each other. They took the company – not the advice. For the Koch family, the fight began in 1980. Bill tried to take control of the company, he failed and was forced out by his older brother, Charles – Koch’s Chief Executive Officer. Koch Industries told 60 Minutes II that Bill “has clearly decided to destroy what he cannot control.” There is no doubt Bill Koch is a man driven by obsessions. In 1992, with little experience in sailing, he simply decided to win America’s Cup. He spent millions and did. He’s used the same determination in suing his brothers for nearly 20 years. “I’ll tell you what I’m out to get,” says Bill. “It’s not to get Charles. He’s going to get himself. The old saying is you’re not punished for your sins but by your sins.”

Kyle Kulinski did a segment on David Koch’s death. He told the story written in some Koch biography book.

In the 1960’s Charles and David tried to blackmail their older brother, Frederick, to forgo taking his portion of their inheritance or they would tell their father he was Gay…which he was/is.

Their millions wasn’t enough for them so they blackmailed their own brother for his!

There’s nothing good about the legacy these greedy fuckers leave behind.

The Corrupt Corporate owned MSM propaganda networks are spewing how great David Koch was because of his philanthropy…which is pure bullshit. Their “philanthropy” consisted of donating a fraction of their billions to charities ONLY IF those charities did the bidding of the evil Koch’s. That was also in the book Kyle was quoting.

I just hope these sick fucks didn’t leave behind evil spawns to carry on their sick agenda.

He won’t be harming any more innocent human beings directly, but his legacy is a gift that keeps on taking.

The misery and suffering he and his family cause due to their insatiable, psychopathic greed will continue indefinitely.

This guy was quite literally the Darth Vader of capitalists. He stole money and land. He supported laws that exploit labor. He didn’t give a damn about the environment. He’s a war profiteer. He has a vast network of dark money going into the pockets of politicians he owned.

I don’t usually like dancing on people’s graves. But I’ll be honest in saying I’d happily piss on this guy’s grave.
