JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMOV.com) — There’s a push in Jefferson City by Republican lawmakers to make a “Rush Limbaugh Day” an annual celebration in the State of Missouri.
Cape Girardeau native, Rush Limbaugh, 70, passed away Wednesday after fighting lung cancer. He worked for 32 years in the radio industry as a conservative radio host.
Rep. Hardy Billington, R-Poplar Bluff, filed HB 1200 Friday that would designate January 12, Limbaugh’s birthday, as “Rush Limbaugh Day” in the state.
“Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference.”

And should be to even Republicans.
We are an arrogant species, believing our fantasy based "facts" are better than the other person's fake facts.
If you are wrong, it will be because you are not cynical enough.
Both major political parties are special interest groups enabling each other for power and money, at the expense of the people they no longer properly serve…

Especially in Joplin, Roaring River, Noel, and Kansas City. But after that, I learned why some people pronounce the state’s name as”misery”
“There’s a new spirit abroad in the land. The old days of ‘grab and greed’ are on their way out. We’re beginning to think of what we owe the other fellow, not just what we’re compelled to give him. The time’s coming… when we shan’t be able to fill our bellies in comfort while others go hungry, sleep in warm beds while others shiver in the cold.... And God willing, we’ll live to see that day…” Basil Rathbone,"Sherlock Holmes Faces Death" (Universal 1943)

What about Wolfe Blitzer Day… or oh wait…I know…
…Jessie the Body-Mind-Governor-Expat-RT Show Host-Ventura Day!
Oh come on…you just gotta know Glenn Beck is right this very moment writing up his eulogy-a eulogy that will adorn a bronze plaque for his hometown city hall.
If all this “honor-the-newscaster-day” stuff where left up to me, I think that it would make better sense to ditch Rush Limbaugh and go with someone like Walter Cronkite…
but nobody asked me.
