For some reason, I’ve been locked out of the site, when using my PC. I get a WordPress message “You are temporarily locked out” whenever I click the login button. I think it is IP address related, since when I use cellular data wth my phone, I can login fine (as this post proves). I just can’t login at all from my PC that’s on the router. Why did this happen and what can I do? Thanks!

Did you try to submit an invalid username?

Almost sounds like you were rerouted to the older JPR.

The message was WordPress specific, so if 4.0 doesn’t use that platform, then I would say that’s a reasonable supposition.

This just happened to me. I had to re register to even get back to a place to log in. What should we do if it happens again? (can you guys put some contact info. on the homepage at least? I didn’t know how to reach anybody)

There are two ways to get locked out… typing an incorrect username (lockout occurs after one time) or submitting incorrect passwords. (I think I have it set to 10 incorrect pws)

I’ll add an email under “About JPR”.
