      Leader McConnell@LeaderMcConnell
Today, I made clear that if Democrats ever attack the key Senate rules, it would drain the consent and comity out of the institution. A scorched-earth Senate would hardly be able to function. It wouldn’t be a progressive’s dream. It would be a nightmare.

I say give him a big middle finger and proceed.

But I doubt Dems will because they like it the way it is.

Maybe it was that way in 1936 when he was first in the senate 😉

We the People know the Republicans have abused Senate rules to an extreme degree, including prominently The Filibuster which McConnell proved could be used to thwart everything for the people and hurtful to the 1%. McConnell should be impeached for that, should have been a long time ago. And his “re-election” in Kentucky, by the way, reeked of questionable vote counts. If McConnell were gone, there would be some second-in-command Rethug Filibusterer in Chief to take his place so….We know that Schumer and company know that the rules must be changed, or there will be another Obama-era style filibuster fiesta by Senate R’s.
