It should come as no surprise that a “moderate ’80s Republican” would want to try to oppose a mainstream ’70s Democrat.

If Obama stops Bernie – actually, come to think of it, if for any reason whatsoever Bernie is not on the ballot, I have no interest in whatever Democrat IS on the ballot, any more than I would have an interest in whatever Republican is on the ballot. Obama, like the DNC, is counting on vote blue no matter who. Everyone I have talked with personally says nope. And the most effective way to keep college students from voting? No Bernie on the ballot. IMO.

How exactly does Obama plan to ‘stop Bernie’? Take away his corporate funding? Minimize questioning him in debates? Eliminate coverage by MSM?
Done. Done. Done. Hasn’t worked.
The next Obama steps to stop Bernie would be quite nefarious. Rigging the Democratic elections? Calling upon the CIA or the mafia? We all know that the DNC has been guilty of rigging the 2016. DNC nearly admits it, by claiming that the 2020 will be more transparent, avoiding superdelegates (in the first vote). Obama will get caught in any web he weaves. He must know this, so he must be desparate.
This is why I question if this stance is about his legacy (which will only sour once he is caught). It seems more likely about his allegiances to the powers that be.

Obama doesn’t carry nearly the weight he thinks he does. Many people, by now, have figured out how they were duped with the hope and change rhetoric.

He didn’t stop Chump in 2016 by putting HRC on a pedestal? I don’t know what he thinks he can do, but maybe further the divide in the democratic party. When Obama started, he wasn’t a part of the establishment. When he left, he was all in for the money, and totally establishment.
One thing Bernie has done was expose the underbelly of these crooked establishment dems. This family will never again vote establishment again
I'm done, It's over for now. It was nice meeting all the cool people here.
