    Media: NYT ignores low Venezuela referendum turnout, calls results "staggering"

    Voter turnout for Venezuelan presidential elections has been running at 80%.  The turnout in this anti-Maduro referendum was less than half that.  To put it another way, more people voted for Maduro’s opponent in 2013 than voted in this referendum.

    To focus on the 98% yes rate and call it “staggering” is stupid.  Obviously Maduro’s supporters boycotted.

        3. Duh! I sit here duly corrected.

        I did not know you could just click on the picture so I put the title into my search bar then went to the article to grab the link. I did not check to see what cane up when I posted since loading posts is slow for me. Now I know.
