NOTE TO MIKEY: “..Eating a hefty amount before bed not only increases the chances of weight gain, but also nightmares. Apparently, a late-night snack signals the brain to be more active, which could lead to more vivid nightmares….” ……Ease up on the snacking Mikey!!
The top Democrat with oversight of foreign affairs criticized Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Tuesday, saying he is reinforcing “false claims” from President Trump of election fraud. Rep. Eliot Engel (D-N.Y.), the outgoing chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said Pompeo is playing “along with baseless and dangerous attacks on the legitimacy of last week’s election.”
“In fact, all Administration officials should drop their false claims about electoral fraud and [the General Services Administration] should release the funding and support necessary for a smooth transition that protects our national security,” Engel said in a statement. Engel added that the State Department “should now begin preparing for President-elect Biden’s transition.”
Pompeo during a press briefing at the State Department earlier Tuesday said “there will be a smooth transition to a second Trump administration.” The nation’s top diplomat also signaled that he didn’t believe the results of the election, saying “we’re gonna count all the votes.”

This is far from normal.
“It is hard to overstate just how dangerous high-level turnover at the Department of Defense is during a period of presidential transition,” Rep. Adam Smith. Which begs the question…what are they doing about it!https://t.co/k8sMIzt2rm

as he explains. Even he can’t take this seriously.
Plus he uses the word “Right.” He is so thoroughly underconfident of his position that he tries for a smile but it comes off as a grimace. He emits nervous laughter.

@jerry611,is that the media is working everyone into a frenzy about it,scaring everybody to get additional clicks and ratings.Like they always do.
Insofar as Trump has a strategy,he’s throwing endless lawsuits out there hoping something will stick and he can get it to the Supreme Court. There’s nothing he’d like better than a repeat of Bush’s v.Gore, and that’s what he’s trying for.But so far,all the courts have thrown out his suits. They’re pretty much laughing at him.
If the courts won’t help him, there’s very little Mike Pompous could do.
