Most lib pundits on cable TV news are affluent & don’t need stuff like Medicare for All in order for them & their families to survive. This is why most of them demand you prioritize vapid “unity” rather than actual progressive policy. They don’t need the policy. They’re rich.

And everyone in politics has a steady job with good insurance.
Same is true for the media: nearly everyone reporting the news – any news from any country – has a good gig, aside from stringers who are not vetted for trustworthiness.
So by that metric, there is no hope.
Sirota himself is described as a “nationally syndicated something something” and award-winning journalist. So presumably he himself is not like the common uninsured strugglers, either. But he is “one of the good ones”. So he proves it is possible to have insurance and be “one of the good ones”… while he implies otherwise and throws shade at his competition.
Yes: I am a cynic. I would guess Sirota is a financially comfortable man, preaching to a progressive demographic niche in exchange for readership and a devout fan-base and his boss’s dollars. Which doesn’t make him bad, but does make him just like everyone else.

Heck, even some sites like SV are seemingly stocked with affluent jack holes that have enough economic comfort to boohoo nonstop about identity politics.
It’s a class war and it always has been – any further division is at best misguided and at worst nefarious.
It's alright Ma, it's life and life only.

Sirota’s been on the right side for the last 15 years I’ve been following his work now, way before he was likely financially comfortable, yet he hasn’t sold out like so many “left” media. Bernie Sanders is rich too, at least compared to all of us, so should we ignore him too? I don’t quite get your point, other than your self-describe cynicism.
All governments lie to their citizen's, but only Americans believe theirs.

Quotable too.
“Heck, even some sites like SV are seemingly stocked with affluent jack holes that have enough economic comfort to boohoo nonstop about identity politics.”
I love it!

and most of the SV HOF types seemed pretty shut-in–notice how they always described themselves as “literally shaking”?

Our so called leftist allies seem to be the ones putting up the most obfuscation. I love the pic btw.
