It is stories like this that make one weep. That the country known as America can display such depraved indifference is a testament to failure of its institutions and citizens. The ethos of “Greed is Good” and “I’ve got mine” is the prevailing propaganda pumped into the minds of most 24/7 by the said same purveyors of Greed and Indifference – the 1%. Though not a violent person by nature, the anger leads to unsettling thoughts. Would I be god and righteous justice were allowed, with one thunderbolt the tables of equity and justice would be leveled for all the Gordon Geckos of the world, all the faux Christians and all those too lazy to learn the truth. Sad that god status will never be bequeathed. Not sad dreaming the tables could be turned and reality might befall those not worthy of being called human.
