<p class=”zn-body__paragraph speakable”>Washington (CNN)Special counsel Robert Mueller’s federal grand jury has been extended so it may continue to meet and vote on criminal indictments for up to six more months.
The grand jury’s initial 18-month term was set to expire over the weekend. The extension is the surest sign yet that the Russia investigation isn’t finished. It means, broadly, that Mueller may continue pursuing alleged criminal activity related to the Russian government’s interference in the 2016 presidential election, and that more indictments may be coming.Mueller is given authority by the Justice Department to prosecute individuals as he sees fit if they fall within his commissioned task — but in practice his team must ask the secret group of up to 23 citizens from DC to approve criminal indictments.

I feel much better since I gave up hope.

Apologies to LiberalElite.
Methinks the extension is the surest sign yet that this whole is a nothing-but-crooks burger.

It’s no surprise that they believe this, because they have been spoon-fed corporate news propaganda to this effect for over two years now. But their belief is in error.
The objective of the Mueller investigation is simply to keep on investigating, thereby ensuring the rapt attention of erstwhile ‘liberals’ on the panacea of potential impeachment rather than on the faults and failings of a corrupt-to-the-core Democratic Party that gave us this Trump fiasco.

I rather suspect he hasn’t got anything that will stick, not for the bigger crooks. How long has it been since the investigation began? There have been some indictments, they’ve nailed a couple of sleaze balls, I guess, but…
Scapegoats, I think. Much like Scooter Libby was for Chimp Junior (little Bush).
Six more months of my father blasting Maddow and other associated people in the kitchen. My poor ears. Six more months of collusion/no collusion! Russia, Putin, Russia, Putin… Trump!!! Three plus one equals 9! Poor Hillary! Russians try to divide Americans by hacking three random Facebook accounts… news all day long…
When will Putin give up the peeepeee tape? Is Stormy Daniel’s a Russian spy? Trump accused of paying off ANOTHER adult actress! Here on Anderson Cooper, keepin’ em honest. Here on the Maddow Show! The smartest woman on television! CNN, the most trusted name in news… MSNBC… er, what is their motto these days, anyhow?

We will just have to wait and see. Don’t like it? Tough.
And that’s the way it is in January 2019.
