It’s time to defend the first amendment, and push back on tech censorship.

No good deed goes unpunished! But I hope he’s feeling the reward of gratitude from those who respect him having stepped up.

is that ever since his intentional scamming of cities for his mythical Hyperloop (which was meant to steer cities away from investing in non-car infrastructure), I have a hard time trusting him to keep his word on anything. That was especially true as I was watching Dore last night, and the announcement kept getting moved back and changed. Just more slight of hand from a sleazy billionaire.

“All the news that’s fit to print” clearly didn’t apply when I performed that search.

      https://www.nytimes.com/search?query=twitter

They could deem it all merely the whimsy of a billionaire seeking publicity, but when it got viewed by so many eyeballs, and coverage by other news outlets, it would became news that deserved coverage.

The New York Times keeps further devolving into a multi-segmented blob that exists in a symbiosis with the establishment. It either defecates on, or ignores, challenges to the establishment, and it gets rewarded with nourishment and pats on what might be called its head.

and who knows what else, there is no point to reading or watching any of those, except to chat with folks about recipes on Facebook.  That “government portal” thing has been quite the eye-opener; I honestly had not expected my suspicions to be so boldly and baldly confirmed, to the tune of hey, the First Amendment is bendy when we want it to be bendy.  What a corrupted bunch.  The Dems, at present.  Pretty fucked up, considering Hillary and the Dems are still mad about Assange releasing Hillary’s emails before an election.

“Don’t unleash the full weight of law enforcement on the Church for not doing even the minimum to thwart abusive clergy, and we don’t use the bully pulpit to call politicians who vote for abortion rights as unworthy to receive the Sacraments, and ditto that for those voting for them.”

She violated the corollary to the second part, “Don’t break the Church’s balls for wanting to deny women their reproductive options.”

And of course Hillary managed to mess up such basic virtue signalling by repeating the now discredited claim that Russia was using rape as a weapon in its war with Ukraine. Having Her on your side tends to make people shudder.

“But we are also in a period of time where there is a lot of pushback and much of the progress that has been, I think, taken for granted by too many people is under attack.

“Literally under attack, in places like Iran or Afghanistan or Ukraine, where rape is a tactic of war, or under attack by political and cultural forces in a country like our own, when it comes to women’s health care and bodily autonomy.”

Being accused as equivalent to a rape squad not sitting well with at least one Catholic Bishop.

And I say “person” with a pound of salt.  She does represent the Democratic Party to me, though.

@djean111.She is what the Democratic Party has been about for far too long..basically Reagan with identity politics.

She is the reason I Demexited,a decision never regretted.
