The first video is outside the Capitol before the Trumpers got in.
The second video is inside the Capitol. The cops are fighting back the Trumpers in a hallway. TWICE. It’s Intense. Pretty impressive footage and MAJOR KUDOS to the Status Coup cameraman who was there and getting bathed in pepper spray just to get this footage!

I watched live Portland Protest coverage every night for two weeks in July, 2020 The Trump protestors clearly learned from the tactics employed by both the federales and BLM. They still have a ways to go to match their BLM compatriots. One suspects they will improve quickly.

Well, it was a riot all right. It also seems the Capitol Police weren’t quiescent everywhere; they sure fought in these videos. I didn’t know so many of them were Black, but I’m not surprised. In the first video there’s a great conversation between a Black Capitol cop and a 60 year old white protester. The guy who looks like me believes in lies which are not things. He is trapped in an illusion. Guy actually told the cop there was no racism in this country in the 1960s. Talk about orbiting Uranus.
It seems clear the Capitol Police were not expecting to be attacked, and they were attacked, by white civilians equipped with shields, pepper spray, tear gas, and telescopic police issue batons. That’s what those black stick-like things are. You can press a button and they’ll telescope out and really poke someone. I thought I saw one cop go down after he got poked in the face with one of those things.
These particular cops in these two videos were put in a very bad position by their supervisors and managers, who were either grossly incompetent or wanting the Trumpers to succeed, or maybe both. I don’t know which right now because there are not enough facts.
Thanks for sharing.

When I heard that guy say he grew up in the 60s and there was never any racism, OMG! What planet is he from? I lived through race riots in the late 60s, for crying out loud. And then he was arguing reparations with a black man! “If you get reparations, do you want to be hated by people like me because you got reparations?” The man is a loony.
Leave it up to Status Coup to get footage like that. Pretty incredible.
Those baton sticks looked lethal. And I’ve never seen such huge canisters of pepper spray.
That stand-off really was intense.

Man heads better roll these popo were put in a bad position. Tat the difference I see in Portland the goal was to get the cops to react but then run, their was very little engagement if it could be helped. These guys are vicious I actually feel bad for the cops lol. In Portland the cops were the vicious ones. I believe this ends any discussion from the right and the thin blue line, Antifa and destruction of property and all the other shit they have thrown out at the BLM protests. I love these guys using their American flags as a weapon. Very good video

amazing that many more didn’t end up killed. those cops were put into very dangerous situations that were easily avoidable and no doubt the capitol police have trained for over and again. why weren’t they properly prepared on 1/6/21?

including this one reinforces the notion that the security put in place on this day was designed to fail.
