We so badly need a new party.

that we must try to be prepared for one co-option after another.

Doesn’t mean failure; does require vigilance.

Destruction is easy; creation is hard, but more interesting.

Sorry, Bernie. I understand political support, but I miss the Bernie who would’ve (might’ve?) brought real change for people, not corporate status quo.

don’t retire, they turn to dust.

I say this as a boomer who doesn’t want to be labeled by my age and still wants to contribute a voice.  Having said that there is a certain point where it is time to recognize that the planet’s future belongs to the next generation who may/may not want to do things differently.   There are way too many politicos that are way past their shelf life and are preventing others who might shake things up and/or learn from experience from having their turn.

On edit – Bernie and colleagues have the best health care in the country and block we the people from getting the same….

That was gag-worthy. Krystal Ball was respectful, but she wouldn’t let Bernie get away with that shit. He finally had to slither away by claiming he didn’t want to get into personalities, after Ball kept pressing him on what Biden can do by either executive action or political pressure, but clearly won’t.

I can’t believe I voted for this guy for President and sent him money. Ugh. Where’s that bowl?

Guess I’ll take the hint, and declare myself a “Pragmatic Angel” now?

        It’s all presentation, right? 🙂

I did like the perspective in Piers Anthony’s For Love of Evil.

I was shocked by this. I never thought he would sell us out but it appears he’s now one of them. How very, very disappointing. Many people told me he was just a sheepdog during the primary but we had the momentum and the platform to win and we would have without the skullduggery. I won’t bother with elections any more, I’m done with our corrupt system and being drug around by my hair whilst being beaten into submission by the flying monkeys. I’m going to concentrate on what I can do locally and for the wildlife.

      I feel like someone died.
