PayPal and the ADL (the Anti-Deformation League) will “focus on further uncovering and disrupting the financial pipelines that support extremist and hate movements.” The statement adds that they will also aim its crosshairs at “actors and networks spreading and profiting from all forms of hate and bigotry against any community.”
“All of us, including in the private sector, have a critical role to play in fighting the spread of extremism and hate. With this new initiative, we’re setting a new standard for companies to bring their expertise to critical social issues,” said Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO, ADL.
This is the latest of PayPal’s recent attempts to end funding to groups or individuals they deem extreme.
(I see some extreme comments at the bottom of the article).

The Libertarian-leaning conservative Rachel Bovard discusses the “extremist” Initiative By ADL and PayPal — with Kim Iversen on The Hill Rising.
Kim Iversen: “Who gets to define ‘extremism'”?
Rachel Bovard: “The definition of hate speech, extremism and misinformation always changes to serve the needs of the people in power.”

From Daily Kos:
It happens all the time: You encounter a white nationalist troll spewing hate and threats on social media in clear violation of their terms of service, you promptly report them to the platform’s monitors, then wait for the posts to be removed and the troll to get the boot, and … nothing happens.
I liked one of the comments at the bottom of the article…
“For Christ’s sake, just don’t use Facebook! My wife and I don’t and I don’t feel we are missing out on a fuller experience of life. It’s stupid. Who gives a shit what all these morons think?”
I don’t know why people worry so much about having Facebook or Twitter censor replies. You can block anyone, block the reply, unfriend that person, reply to them, or ignore, or as that person said above, leave Facebook.
