the never-ending story:
“It is premature for the President to declare a sweeping victory against ISIS when, just a few weeks ago, our military led more than 250 coalition-conducted airstrikes against targets in Iraq and Syria,” Pelosi said in a statement.
“All Americans should be concerned that this hasty announcement was made on the day after sentencing in criminal proceedings began against the President’s former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn…
“The American people deserve a smart, strong and strategic Syria policy that keeps America safe, protects our interests and advances peace in the region,” she said.

Establishment Dems positioning themselves to the right of Trump yet again, and Pelosi who ruled out impeachment delivers the message while lecturing us about smart strategy.

Trump is good at managing the news cycle. Withdrawal is a good thing. The timing is useful to Trump.
If you don’t help them rebuild (and you refuse to do so), poverty and desperation will l ad to a resurgence os ISIS or some new form of resistance
And “ Thank you, Kurds, for being such good fighters and sacrificing to get rid of ISIS.”
Good luck with Erdogan who wants to invade Syria just to kill you. And good luck with Assad who appreciates your fight against ISIS in that part of the country. You saved his military having to do it. Now they can turn their attention to you.
Thanks for your efforts. Don’t call us, we’ll call you.

National issues (slavery/racism, income inequality, pandemics and pathetic health care, weak unions) are not solved with more states' rights. Global problems (climate change, migration, trade, war, pandemics) are not solved with more nationalism.

I’m pretty sure ISIS and the “moderate rebels” are the same groups, mercenaries, funded by Qatar, the US and KSA.

Doesn’t matter if getting out is right or wrong. What matters most is self fulfilling prophecy.

So Donald Trump becomes the anti-war candidate and the Democrats are beating the war drums? Is that what they are going to run on in 2020? I know the CIA is legitimately obsessed in removing Assad, but that doesn’t mean the Democrats have to follow that crazy talk off the cliff. Americans have no stomach for another multi-trillion dollar war that will do nothing but further destabilize an already f***ed up region.

I wonder how many of her “constituents” fall under the name Military Industrial Complex.
Odd that Pelosi and Hillary think alike so much….ok so i don’t think it odd at all.
