Yes, the newer one is a remake. I watched a bit of the old one too on You Tube. Looks like they spent a lot more money on the newer one. 🙂 The actor who played the first Poldark has a small role in the newer one.
Well, I watched all five seasons. It was good but they kept calling the son of Poldark’s cousin his “nephew”. Nobody on the staff of hundreds on this show noticed this mistake?
