The U.S. Postal Service will suspend any policy or operational changes until after the November presidential elections, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy said Tuesday.

Critics claimed DeJoy was hindering the agency’s ability to accommodate an expected surge in mail-in voting, which he denied.

DeJoy, a close ally of President Donald Trump and a longtime GOP donor who was appointed in May, said he had come to the federal agency to make changes that would allow for “its long-term sustainability,” but he intended to delay those efforts as scrutiny of those practices grew — despite his view that the USPS needed a significant overhaul.

“In the meantime, there are some longstanding operational initiatives — efforts that predate my arrival at the Postal Service — that have been raised as areas of concern as the nation prepares to hold an election in the midst of a devastating pandemic,” he said. “To avoid even the appearance of any impact on election mail, I am suspending these initiatives until after the election is concluded.”

He already made drastic changes which will affect the election by removing and trashing sorting equipment.

      Put the f’er in jail!

Now, can he bring back the sorting machines he trashed?

Kabuki…put everything back and I might believe it, maybe.

We are an arrogant species, believing our fantasy based "facts" are better than the other person's fake facts.

Will he write a “tell-all” book and be invited to talk shows?

Will he wear a t-shirt inscribed with “I’m No Longer With the Stupid Guy”?

As soon as another issue takes front page and the focus of the media, pundits, and parties is moved away from this issue, look for this bastard to continue his bullshit.  Right now he’s saying “OK, I’ll stop until the election is over.”   Then when we all look away at some other insane event or travail (of which there is no lack of), he will start his fucking bullshit again.  My guess is about 2 or 3 weeks before the election.  He’ll do the Democrats in the general like they did Bernie in the primary.  Polling stations during the primary were closed down in minority neighborhoods with no recourse for the aggrieved parties but tilting at the windmill.   This will be the most fucked up election ever with no lack of drama by Caligula over the “fraud” being committed by mail in ballots.  IF Joe wins, he will immediately create some gridlock that will hamstring any attempt at sane, helpful, and rational legislation that has not been vetted by the crooks that rule us.

So look for this DeJoy S-hole to get the Hillary “cut that out” finger wag from a gaggle of “centrists”.   Gone from this “hearing” will be any legislation that undoes the slow slide towards privatization that the postal service has been subjected to.   I could be wrong, but my money is on Biden doing a rebranding soon so as to say – yeah, the post office needs fucking with.  The two biggest kitties in the government right now are is the Postal Pension Plan and the trillion plus in Social Security funding that is in Tbills.  Thieves are gonna thieve, thieve, thieve and either Trumps lackeys or Joe’s lackeys will steal the Post Office pension fund.
