Smooth. Looks like they kept the nose gear off the runway as long as possible.
Not intending to hijack the thread, but this emergency landing always impresses me, albeit with nose gear intact. 757 engine ingests a corvid (aka, a crow or raven here in the U.S.) at point of rotate and they lose power on that engine. Safe return to Manchester airport. The brakes probably got pretty hot because they couldn’t use thrust reverse with one engine DOA.
