It’s impossible to capture the totality of this article’s zingers in just a few paragraphs – this is merely the beginning….Leave it to the Irish to have a way with words.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s ‘Tax the Rich’ dress at the $30,000-per-ticket Met Gala was hypocritical and smacked of decadence. But those complaining are missing the point. She’s not a politician. She’s an actress who passes laws.

It’s difficult to think of an image that more aptly sums up the feckless arrogance and moral decline of America’s ruling class than self-professed ‘democratic socialist’ Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez showing up to the $30,000-per-ticket Met Gala in a ball gown emblazoned with the text ‘Tax the Rich’.

Yet that’s exactly what happened on Monday night, as AOC schmoozed with celebrities at possibly the most elitist event in New York’s social calendar.

Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney (NY – 12th District) Calls for ‘Equal Rights for Women’ with Suffragette-Themed Met Gala Dress.

Congresswoman Maloney used to represent New York’s 14th district, currently represented by AOC.

The New York Democrat also wore a bag emblazoned with “ERA YES,” an endorsement of the proposed Equal Rights Amendment.
Maloney made a bold statement on the 2021 Met Gala red carpet Monday, donning a floor-length gown displaying the colors of the suffragette movement (purple, white and gold) along with sashes embroidered with the words “equal rights for women.”

some media seemed truly amazed that Nicki Minaj, who is still considering the shot, albeit with some odd anecdotal reasons, would not get vaccinated merely so she could attend the Gala.  Because the Met Gala is Just That Important.  IMO, AOC would have made a better impression – and that is all she is, really, impressions – standing outside with the protesters.   Nice to see that mask slip off the money-loving Democratic party a little bit, though.   AOC got all that attention and did not even have to pay for it.

Everything I post is just my opinion, and, honestly, I would love to be wrong.
