The fact that Republican and Dem factions have each accused prominent members of the other of illegal or corruption in Ukraine makes me wonder whether the plane passengers included anyone who knew too much.

Destruction is easy; creation is hard, but more interesting.

Yes.  Otherwise it makes no sense to deliberately shoot that plane down.  IMO.

Yes, this is coincidence theorist types of stuff…either an Iranian air defense mishap, CIA, etc…..and taking out a Ukrainian plane would obviously raise those kinds of questions…..but why would anyone ‘who knew too much’ be in Iran of all places….

The linkage between Ukraine and Iran is the core puzzle.

It was mainly Iranian-Canadians returning home after visiting family, some Europeans, and a Ukrainian crew. At first glance, there was no reason for anybody to kill anybody on that plane.

Conspiracy theories are more fun than the idea that a passenger plane was accidentally hit by a missile during a military conflict.

Or that a defective engine caught fire or other failure of Boeing.

It’s amazing to me that a plane crash, which usually have months long investigations into cause, suddenly has reports telling us who did it, what caused it, and how it happened, like, 5 minutes after it occurred. Must be something about aircraft disasters and Ukraine.

Surely Nuttyahoo couldn’t have been too happy that all their hard work to plan and arrange the drone strike that surely should lead to a major escalation, would instead fizzle out so quickly with nothing more than a few rockets lobbed at unmanned bases?
