Rep. Tim Ryan says he'll lead a 'caravan' to McConnell's home state to protest for gun control

I happen to catch Ryan on tv live and he was very upset at McConnell. He also used more cuss words than what’s printed in the article below. I hope that he succeeds with a sizable “caravan” and that many cameras are there in Louisville to record any confrontation with McConnell. I expect McConnell to tuck his turtle head inside his turtle shell to avoid answering anything gun related.
By Caroline Kelly, CNN
“Tomorrow, I am leading a caravan in my official capacity as a congressman, working with Moms Demand Action, to start in Youngstown and go to Akron, and Columbus, and Dayton, and Cincinnati and pick people up along the way, and we’re going to Louisville, Kentucky,” Ryan told CNN’s Jim Sciutto on “Newsroom” Wednesday morning.
Ryan continued, “We’re going to make sure that Mitch McConnell knows that there are two pieces of legislation sitting on his desk that he needs to bring up for a vote to actually get some action” and, he later added, to let McConnell “know that we’re very, very serious about what’s happening here.”
“Get your culiones, OK, grab ’em, and do something, because the American people are fed up with you stonewalling everything,” Ryan said. “People are dying on the streets just a couple hours from your house, and you’re sitting there doing nothing.”
“Get off your ass, and get something done. We’re fed up,” he said later, adding that “Ohioans aren’t forgetting — we’re going to see Mitch McConnell tomorrow, and we’re inviting every surrounding state to get a caravan and meet us in Louisville, Kentucky.”

I detest Ryan, but I do like this caravan idea. Wonder if Trump will call it an invasion of Kentucky?

That thought crossed my mind too. The word “caravan” seems to excite Trump to no end. “INVASION!!”
Another thought has crossed my mind. I wonder if this move by Ryan prompts Trump to direct an order for ICE to raid Louisville?
Rep. Ryan had to correct Fox’s Ingraham tweet. Relax Ingraham, McConnell’s home isn’t the direct target of Ryan’s caravan. His hometown is.
Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham incorrectly tweeted on Thursday that Ryan was stirring up “more threats” to McConnell by sending out “calls for surrounding Sen Majority Leaders house.”
“This is not true. The rally is NOT at Mitch McConnell’s house, it’s at City Plaza next to the Muhammed Ali Center in his hometown of Louisville, KY,” Ryan tweeted at Ingraham.

No wonder he suspended his campaign. This is free publicity. Yes I am cynical. He is still a Vichy Dem.

Just as well he “suspended” his campaign. I still don’t know who he is. And- I.DON’T.CARE.
I feel much better since I gave up hope.

Yes, Ryan is the epitome of a Vichy Dem and O’Rourke is an unprincipled opportunist. But when they’re right, they’re right. I have absolutely no intentions of supporting either for president. And I will continue to be suspicious of their motivations. But that’s not going to discourage me from commending them when they say things or take actions that I agree with.
Thank you, Rep. Ryan. I hope your caravan idea succeeds where other lackluster efforts have miserably failed.

Will that be just like Obama putting on his comfortable shoes to walk the picket lines? All bullshit all the time like usual!

Ryan leading a turtle hunt? Sure, why not. Has to be more entertaining than his Presidential campaign was.

My cynical self says Ryan is looking to redeem himself after his disastrous showings in the debates. But if this gets lots of publicity, if other House members join up, and if the Senate votes for the gun safety bill, my straw hat will be off to him.
