• Update on weirdness

Update on site issues: (1. replies now need a title *and* something in the message box, 2. certain links are causing strange pop-ups on Apple devices, and 3. Some folks can't type anything into the text box.) Basically, a series of unfortunate events set us back on testing. We'll get to it as soon as we can, and hopefully things can get fixed by this weekend if not before.  More info: https://jackpineradicals.com/boards/topic/site-problems-more-info/

      3. "profitization" do you mean "profiteering"?

      As in “War Profiteering”?

    2. Thank you much for posting this, Akallabeth. It brings up some good..

…points about privatization. The republicans  and and neoliberals usually start this privatization crap with “The government can’t do anything right” bullshit.  This has the average person (who is  not paying attention), thinking that turning over work to CEO run outfits will solve some unknown problem…which was never there in the first place.

      4. Well, the biggest unknown is who will win the bids under globalization.

Foreign firms will likely win and gain a right to do the work with their own highly skilled workforces.

We can’t compete with the dollar a day countries.
