Note some related breaking news stories on the RT website – first, related to this, Russia has suspended its participation in the Grain Deal.  Secondly, Russia has accused the UK for the sabotage of the Nordstream pipeline which the UK has denied.  As Garland Nixon observes (Multimedia refers), the revolt against the Neocons has begun.

The unsuccessful Ukrainian attack on the port city of Sevastopol in Crimea early on Saturday involved nine aerial and seven naval drones, Russia’s defense ministry has said.

The “terrorist attack,” which targeted the vessels of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet and civilian ships docked in the city began around 4.20am local time, the ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

It added that the Russian Navy ships had been involved in providing security for the “grain corridor,” which was set up to allow exports of Ukrainian food products from the Black Sea ports in line with a deal reached between Moscow and Kiev with UN and Turkish mediation in the summer.

All of the incoming drones were shot down by Russian warships and naval aviation in the bay of Sevastopol, the ministry said.

This morning at 4:20 local time the Russian fleet in the Crimean port of Sevastopol was attacked by nine unmanned aerial vehicles and seven autonomous maritime drones. Earlier a maritime drone that had run aground in Crimea and had been found and pictured.

(For Clarification: This pictured was taken back in September 2020. There are pictures at the link below.)

During today’s attack a large U.S. drone had flown circles south of Crimea. It likely relayed data from and to the drones.

The maritime drones are British and Russia alleges that British specialists had trained the Ukrainian navy in using them. It also says that British soldiers were involved in the attack on the Nord Stream pipeline.

The Ukrainians published two videos shot by the maritime drones while attacking. One of the video shows extensive gun fire impacts near the drone from a Russian helicopter that is attacking it.

According to Moon of Alabama (MOA), there was a large U.S. drone flying out over the sea in circles while an airborne/marine surface vessels were carrying out the attack. Neither the MOA piece nor linked pieces explain how it was known this is a U.S. Drone. To further complicate the subject, why the signals from the U.S. Drone were not jammed by Russian Forces.

As far as the grain shipments go, the last I read, none of the shipments are going to third world nations. Only to places with no shortages, who pay top dollar. This is now outdated information, so take it for what it is worth.

Now, about the issue of British Military Personnel working in Ukraine being used in real-time operations. The United Kingdom Government was quick to deny this accusation. But, it gets real murky with supposed videos of Ukrainian war footage with the participants speaking perfect English with a Mid-West accent. Now, I have meet people born and raised in Ukraine here in the U.S., and in many cases, their English is better than U.S. native born’s. Not to mention, some do have a Mid-Western accent. But we do know, the C.I.A. have been working in Ukraine, left and came back. We know this because the C.I.A. have made press releases stating they have done so. As for U.K. and U.S. Military actively working in Ukraine, it would not surprise me. If proven as a fact by Russia, this would be an Act of War by both U.K. and the U.S.

Nothing in Ukraine happens w/o Putin knowing about it.

but if it was completely true, Western weapons would be destroyed as soon as they entered Ukraine and there would be no attacks on civilian populations as there would be no weapons to attack with or soldiers to operate the equipment.

Yes, weapons depots are getting blown up, but it’s been a long time since I’ve seen reports of one destroyed in the west of Ukraine.

One is: do not hang out in large groups outside the battlefield. How many times I heard the Russians neutralized 100 give-or-take 50 Ukrainian solders with one missile strike were numerous. When off of the battlefield, groups of ten a permitted, except for officers. Ten Ukrainian Officers are worth one GPS missile. My recollection it took the Ukrainians at least 6 months or more to figure this out.

Two: After a tough day on the battlefield, do not call the babe at home on your cellphone while going back to the barracks. As a matter of fact, do not even think about turning on your cellphone on. Even better, leave your cell phone at home in the microwave oven. The story behind this is, guys will be going back to the barracks in the back of an army truck and a number of them would call their families to let them know they were okay. The Russians would triangulate these personal cellphones and hit them with a barrage of artillery.  The Ukrainian Troops who did not learn this lesson are probably no longer with us.

And the US/UK/EU/NATO are all dancing the plausible deniability two-step.

"Sometimes when I try to understand a person's motives, I play a little game. I assume the worst. What's the worst reason they could possibly have for saying what they say and doing what they do? Then I ask myself, 'How well does that reason explain what they say and what they do?'" GRRM
