Good news is I doubt any but the most pathetically naive really think Medicare will be expanded to include dental and/or hearing aids – I am just vaguely curious about which neoliberal excuses will be trotted out and what will be “promised” in the next round of campaign pandering. Love to be wrong, but cynicism, based on experience, is preferable to me than thinking “hope and change” is gonna happen.
America is not a country, it's just a business. (Brad Pitt, Killing Them Softly)
Everything I post is just my opinion, and, honestly, I would love to be wrong.
The winger on the panel says that the government isn’t the best institution for providing vital services, but that’s nonsense on its face. The whole purpose of organizing a government, is to divy up the spoils of organized economic activity. If socialist experiments, like say, the Bolivarian movement, weren’t routinely, viciously attacked by capitalist predators, the silly, clueless arguements would be proven false.
