Sanders: Trump a fraud on Wall Street reform 01:10

Washington (CNN)Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders accused President Donald Trump of falling short of commitments to middle-class voters, pointing to his Cabinet and senior advisers’ ties to Wall Street.
“This guy is a fraud,” Sanders told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union” Sunday.
“This guy ran for president of the United States saying, ‘I, Donald Trump, I’m going to take on Wall Street — these guys are getting away with murder.’ Then suddenly, he appoints all these billionaires,” Sanders said.
Trump selected Steve Mnuchin, a former Goldman Sachs trader and hedge fund manager, as his treasury secretary nominee; Wilbur Ross, a billionaire former banker, to lead the Commerce Department; and Gary Cohn, a top Goldman Sachs executive, to lead his National Economic Council.

    1. Thanks, Bernie.

    3. Jaw drop! CNN covering Bernie dissing Goldman Sachs!

I hope their gold cufflinks, if they’re guys, or daring hoop earrings if they’re gals,  don’t emit suicide lasers.  (Do I know what this means? No.  Do I like the image of suicide lasers being emitted from the body decor of CNN “personalities,” triggered by the innocent presence of Bernie Sanders coupled with the words “Goldman Sachs,” and chasing them around the studio as they try to avoid death by their own body armor?  Yah.  I like.  I don’t hope it doesn’t happen at all.)

    And, hey, GO BERNIE!

    5. Bernie's not perfect, but…

… he is and has always been a straight shooter. The real deal.

I was inspired by his campaign and continue to be oh so proud to support him.

      6. Yes, and its interesting to me that as far as I have seen, Trump has

not taken any shots at Bernie. Recall when Bernie blew up Trumps words/promises on a large poster board on the floor of the Senate? lol

Silence from Trump, he also called Trump a pathological liar..silence, now this latest. I suspect he is ignoring him so far b/c he knows he’s suppose to have like a Bernie message and would rather avoid a public fight with Bernie for the time being.

From what I have noticed Bernie relies on Trumps own words…word for word, to nail him to the wall. I like it.

        7. Yes, it's interesting that Trump holds his tongue. Maybe he fears a backlash.

But eventually, I expect Trump will lash out at Sanders, and I won’t be surprised if he looks very foolish doing so.

        8. Trump knows..

it’s a fight he CAN’T win… Bernie has the facts & credibility to destroy him – Trump is hoping & praying that Bernie isn’t around for the 2020 election.. believe that.

          9. I think that's quite right. It's not a fight Trump wants, that's for sure.
