Kyle’s right. This ad is pathetic and worthy of ridicule.

I sort of wonder about the backgrounds of those young people.  And how stupid of those young people to not know about, say, Biden’s role in student loans.

@djean111 I was going to call this ad grotesque pandering, but that’s not accurate. It’s more like grotesquely ineffective pandering. OTOH, you can always show it to your grandkid if you want to get a good representative younger generation reaction to it.

He could only take about half of it, said it looked great if Biden was trying to attract 12 years old voters.  But said personally – blecch.  And blecch is the sound he made.  He said there is actually nothing in it.   I did take the opportunity to tell him to check out Ventura, just some more market research!

Looking at it again – and never again – it looks like a Tiger Beat ad from a really distasteful weird alternate universe.  All it needs is Biden smelling some unwilling teenagers’ hair.

@djean111 My 21 year old stepson said “What the…(laughed derisively while shaking head)…Seriously? Unreal.”

Unreal. Ayup. That’s a good description.

A very creepy elderly friend or “funny” great grandfather who has dementia and can’t really remember your name while he tries to feel you up.

Mrs. Barbarian and I are in our late 50s and early 60s, and that grossed us out. The “yuck” reaction crosses generational lines here. Biden might be the least appealing major party candidate for president since television was invented. The internet won’t treat him kindly, either.
