Count me as just one who was all in for Bernie in 2015 when he entered that race, through 2020, but no, Senator, I will NOT be voting for the JoeMentia (nor did I the Shrill One (Her royallness in ’16).. even though you say some of us will.

And dude, you became subservient to the forces that oppress, and continue to oppress as they polish their awfulness to an even higher luster.
And, despite the vaunted leverage you brought to the table, acceded to them with utterly zero to show for it.
I’m colossally disappointed………..

Let’s be less than strict and round that up to 60%. If 40% of Bernie’s voters don’t show up for Biden then that would be disastrous for him on election day.
Bernie’s most avid supporters are heavily represented in swing states, and they hate Biden’s globalism. Millions of voters that won’t vote Blue no matter
It’s no stretch to say that Biden will lose more Bernie voters than Clinton did, and he’ll do that mostly in the very states that Clinton lost to Trump.
It was a globalist that lost to Trump, so the party elites got behind one who was even more brazen about being one. We’ll all know the following video by heart if Biden becomes the nominee.

Biden’s fake progressivism probably being part of the reason. It makes him seem less honest than Trump with his rah-rah populism does, when it comes to trade. We have less than four of years of Trump to weigh against eight years of Obama-Biden, and eight years of Bill Clinton.
Trump won’t win over progressive voters, but the level of their disgust over Biden being the nominee will keep millions from voting for him. If the Trump family had got caught as badly as Hunter Biden did in dealing with the Chinese then maybe that, in combination with Trump’s other sins, would have given Joe Biden a pass on the perception of him being a sell out globalist, at least to the degree to get more voters to hold their nose and vote for him. Biden being a Democrat makes his globalism feel more egregious. Might not be logical, but there it is.
But Trump being a villain isn’t the biggest factor in not voting for Biden for millions of voters. They are at the point in their lives where they won’t countenance more of the same from the Democratic party. Trump would need to be actively blowing up brown people’s countries, doing an Obama-Clinton, to override their disgust at Biden being the nominee.
If Biden were more of a populist like Trump, and less a globalist, he could probably win over more Bernie supporters, and moderate Republicans who are repulsed by Trump’s actions and demeanor. But Biden and the Democratic party have gone full globalist, and there’s no going back for them until the party gets forcibly reconstructed. You never go full globalist, and Trump’s re-election might finally make that point clear.
It’s horrible that that could be what it takes for rank and file Democrats to learn, but there it is. Vote for progressives next time, and while they’re at that, get rid of the Russiagaters in the party that have accomplished nothing except thwart the careers of Sanders and Gabbard, as well as the careers of progressive activists and journalists.

I could be wrong. All I know is that I don’t vote for Fascists, no matter who endorses them. Biden’s the neoliberal variety of Fascist. Both believe in using government power to advance state interests, and Biden’s been doing that for decades.
@babel17 And I live in Ohio. Midwesterners will not forget that Biden was all for NAFTA and the TPP, whether the corporate media does or not. It’s an albatross around his neck in these parts.

And he will still then be my president, and I like him as a person, but I will not vote for him, period.

I am not going to play this video.
This is what was probably a part of the contract with the DNC to run for president of the United States.
Bernie Sanders, and all others who seeked the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, may be obligated; but, I am not.
At this point, this has become reduced to a joke.

And Cheeto might not be either. Sadly, I don’t think Bernie will be, but I’ll probably write him in anyway.

For that reason alone I would NEVER vote for the SOB, and he gave so many more really good reasons.
It shocked me to realize how quickly I would have been a Clinton supporter in a two person race.
THEY JUST WANT TO FORCE HIM DOWN THROATS.
I wish them luck, be nice to see what their limits are, or are not.

If we liked anything about Biden we wouldn’t have been Bernie supporters to begin with! They have nothing in common.
