Well, no, not actually.
Green for the color of cash, and Yellow as the color for cowardice.
But anyway, yeah, I can remember using the feature in Windows to customize the background color, and that was like getting a lesson in how different colors can work together to provide one solid one.
When you think you have that figured out, we can start talking about metamerism. That’s where color really gets interesting and tricky.
Pigment is RYB (red, yellow, blue) And it’s great fun to get into secondary and tertiary colors.
In print it is CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black)
Computers it is RGB (red, green, blue)
Then you’ve got white and black. Which one is the presence of all colors and which is the absence? Answer: depends.
