      Here is a photo of someone paddling a kayak over Husum Falls on the White Salmon River in Washington. At 13 feet, this is the biggest waterfall I ever ran. I ain’t crazy. There are kayakers who run much higher waterfalls. What is the tallest waterfall run successfully in a kayak?

        I think Niagara and Hrseshoe have been tried in kayaks, but I’mnot sure of the results, and I think our record holding falls is taller.

        Niagara and Horseshoe are 167 feet and our subject falls is about 22 feet higher. It is in the United States.

        @jbnw thinks close to home for the win.

        In 2009 Tyler Bradt ran Palouse Falls at 189 feet high. He broke his paddle and sprained his wrist.

          Closest was probably Washtucna – family tradition was to stop for soft ice cream there 🙂
