FAST FACTS:
We found 277 policies that can be enacted through executive branch powers in the Biden-Sanders unity task force document.
48 of the policies, or 17 percent, are rollbacks of Trump-era policy changes.
Immigration (78 policies), Climate Change (54 policies), and the Economy (54 policies) have the most potential executive actions. On July 8, the Joe Biden campaign published the results of its unity task forces with the former Bernie Sanders campaign in a 110-page document of policy recommendations. Though Biden has not committed to enacting the policies recommended by the task forces, they represent the clearest consensus vision for moving a united Democratic Party into the general election, as well as a clear vision for what a Biden presidency might look like.
While each task force proposed new legislation to achieve its goals, you can also read the document with an eye toward what a Biden administration could accomplish on Day One, without having to go near Congress. To that end, we found 277 policies that are clearly within the executive branch’s power to immediately pursue, at least in part.
More from Max Moran
On their own, none of these 277 policies will fully solve any of the interlinked crises we now face. But they can go a significant way toward immediate harm reduction. Some can even solve long-standing problems, simply by enforcing or fully implementing laws already on the books…

Why should I care if one corporate stooge holds up the desires of another corporate stooge? Truth is none of us should unless they’re some stealth Dem party lover or something equally as disgusting. F biden.

not about anybody holding up the desires of corporate stooges (?), it’s about getting what people want as policy @floridaprog
which means putting heavy pressure on power immediately after the inauguration
i can’t parse your post btw
i’m sick of all these nostradamuses who see their job as predicting terrible futures and pleading powerlessness (enabling powerlessness)

Gee, fasttense and Cold Mountain Trail – what, exactly, would anyone be able to threaten Biden with?
He and the rest of the Vichy Dems got what they wanted. You gonna unfriend him? Write him Strongly Worded Letters? Bwahahaha! He won! He will proceed as if he has a mandate for war and austerity. He does not care what we think, that part of the story is over. All that is left is kicking progressives to the curb. TPP, ACA penalty, Social Security on the table because of “balanced budget” concerns – drink up! Here is a clue – Biden boasted that he “beat the socialist”. Obama already killed the “hope and change” delusion. FFS. Lives will not get better, cupboard is bare. Those are Biden’s intentions, and all the wittle frowny faces won’t even be a blip on the radar.

First: I did not vote for Biden, I did not vote for Trump either.
I voted for Jeff. (My brother).
Obviously I am not Edgar Cayce nor Nostradomis but from my heavily propagandized bubble, I would like to add my two cents worth of predictions.
I predict that for whatever open reason, (likely for dementia), Biden will be removed from office close to two years in.
The real reason Dems will remove Biden from office is because they know he can not run for a second term.
This places the Hillary protege Harris in the Presidency for those last two years.
Harris OTOH, is young enough to run for President in 2024, she will be in the best possible position to do so as the current sitting President.
Corporate controlled Harris will not have to fight off a populist Progressive Democrat challanger during that run.
She will likely beat her Republican challanger, (Trump maybe?)
Then she will run for POTUS for 2028 and likely win again.
This will give the banksters, the corporatists and the M.I C. control over the White House for ten years.
This will set back the real Progressive movement for ten years as well…twelve if you include Biden’s half term.
Woohoo! Great for those on top of the food chain…(and SV)
Not so great for the vast majority of humanity as we watch our planet further ravaged by wars, by climate change, by deepening poverty and etc.
Trump fanatics will be replaced by Harris fanatics. (Same blind stupidity, different apostle).
Our country will remain divided.
Oh and Rachel Madcow will get a raise.
Well those are my predictions.
I would not put it past the Hillary Dems to have schemed this whole plan out even before the 2020 primary.
I am reduced to the hope that a few Progressives will be able to keep giving us their thoughts on You-Tube, that RT America will continue airing on our TVs, that JPR continues to thrive…and that the VA will up my meds.
Nuff said.

I think someone should collect all the predictions in a JPR folder. Whoever turns out to get it closest wins one of those prizes the mods give out for trivia.

If one is available, a Flying Fickle Finger Of Fate Award might be nice.
It should not be too difficult to put the word “Predictor” on the award’s name plate.
Just a furtherance of your suggestion.
