David Sirota, a journalist who previously worked for Sanders, wrote in a tweet this month that only Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) had received more campaign donations from the oil and gas industry than O’Rourke during the 2018 cycle, NBC noted.
NBC pointed out that the tweet failed to recognize that O’Rourke refused donations from corporate PACs.
Reminder: By “dogs” and “bros” he’s talking about journalists vetting a potential candidate for the presidency of the United States… https://t.co/p61NQQj3dy

You gotta be careful right now until we get the bugs out of the editor in software. I can’t use my usually sophisticated language to express my opinion to these tweets. I will on Twitter, however,.
Hell, no... I'm not giving up...

organized bashing of Beto any more than the Yellow Vest movement in France is organized by any political organization.
This Beto-bashing is a spontaneous reaction by informed progressives of all stripes across the Internet. The only person to blame for it is Beto himself because he is the one who made the choice to do corporatist things instead of progressive ones.

Where the focus was all on who to blame for leaking the emails, and NOT on what was contained in the emails. Which of course was the documentation of a rigged & manipulated primary process.
Lockhart & the DLC tools aren’t at all concerned that Beto is a corporatist tool, pretending to be a “progressive”. They ARE concerned that anybody finds out about that reality before the voting starts. After all, they were able to get away with “the guy who talks like a liberal” (but really isn’t) in both 1992, and 2008. Of course they’re going to try that again.

Claims he doesn’t take PAC money…… BUT! O’Rourke took money from individuals in the Israel PAC. You see, this is called “BUNDLING” and is not considered PAC donations by the FEC.
So, you see, he’s not REALLY lying!

Thanks for pointing that out. He’s a man who likes to “bundle.”

Large T Truth is generally a biased point of view, which someone is trying to sell as small t truth which is the plain unvarnished reality…

progressives make is 1. Applogize for saying the truth 2. Falling in line and then back to complaining that nothing changed. 90% of Bernie supporters also voted for Hillary. Maybe the Clintons were correct that they have nowhere else to go. But at the current rate progressives are sure to take over the DNC by 3020
Never expect different result by following the previous steps

it seems that by publicizing Beto’s actual positions on issues “we” (defining we here as those of us who have been calling Beto out on his bull s h i t) are being effective. By the way, I for one haven’t even been contacted by any Bernie campaign in 2020 other than the usual looking for donations and volunteers thing. Weaver hasn’t been in my ear saying, hey you know that Beto guy? If anything, I see Beto as more of a threat to Biden, although honestly I do not think Beto has any kind of real operation going in early Primary States so that puts him waaaay behind the 8 ball.
I also actually GAVE Beto a damn donation as I got caught up in his chances to beat Cruz without looking at his positions or his broken promise, so I am doubly pissed that dude is a centrist oil industry hack.
I think many who are testing the waters simply have other motives, like whoever it is pick me for Sec of State, etc…so anyway f u c k Beto.

Beto has said/done that impressed me was speaking out for Colin Kaepernick’s right to protest, and it got him a lot of positive feedback from progressives, who otherwise weren’t paying much attention to his senate race. But outside of this I can’t think of anything else.
