An influential D.C. network of military interventionists placed Mayor Pete on an inside track to power, reports Max Blumenthal.

In his quest for front-runner status in the 2020 presidential campaign, Pete Buttigieg has crafted an image for himself as a maverick running against a broken establishment.

On the trail, he has invoked his distinction as the openly gay mayor of a de-industrialized Rust Belt town, as well as his experience as a Naval reserve intelligence officer who now claims to oppose “endless wars”.  He insists that “there’s energy for an outsider like me,” promoting himself as “an unconventional candidate.”

When former Secretary of State John Kerry endorsed Joe Biden this December, Buttigieg went full maverick. “I have never been part of the Washington establishment,” he proclaimed, “and I recognize that there are relationships among senators who have been together on Capitol Hill as long as I’ve been alive and that is what it is.”

But a testy exchange between the South Bend mayor and Rep. Tulsi Gabbard during a Nov. 20 Democratic primary debate had already complicated Buttigieg’s branding campaign.

    It’s an Obama repeat.

I would like to remind you that U.S. health insurance companies do not contribute anything to health care. They are only a PARASITIC middle man receiving an undeserved cut of "FREE MONEY".

Another excellent article by Blumenthal. It’s well worth the read. This is why progressives should go on red alert every time someone who went to Harvard or Yale or any other Ivy League school runs for office. They are schools by, for, and of the ruling elites and especially the MIC. Ivy Leaguers and Rhodes Scholars are very seldom true progressives. They are indoctrinated and rewarded for following the establishment line.

Just look at our last batch of Presidents–Poppy Bush(Yale and CIA), Bill Clinton(Rhodes Scholar), Dubya Bush(Yale), Obama(Columbia and Harvard Law). I don’t count Trump because he’s obviously an insane moron, but the last President who didn’t get us into a foreign conflict was Jimmy Carter, and he went to the Naval Academy. How’s that for an image-buster?

Bernie went to the University of Chicago before it turned into a supply-side, neocon cesspool, so he’s cool.

If there is a CIA candidate, it’s Buttgig for sure.

If we’re gonna go into everyone’s histories, take note that blumenthal himself is the son of a DC & Clinton machine insider:  here’s dad:

Sidney Stone Blumenthal is an American journalist, activist, writer, and political aide.

He is a former aide to President Bill Clinton; a long-time confidant[1] of Hillary Clinton, formerly employed by the Clinton Foundation;[2] and a journalist, especially on American politics and foreign policy…Blumenthal served as assistant and senior advisor to Bill Clinton from August 1997 until January 2001. His roles included advising the President on communications and public policy as well as researching information in the general media about the White House. He became a major figure in the grand jury investigation that ended in the impeachment of President Clinton. While working for Clinton, Blumenthal was known for this loyalty to the Clintons and his attacks on their adversaries…

Blumenthal joined the 2008 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign as a “senior advisor” in November 2007…After her January 2009 appointment as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton wished to hire Blumenthal. However, Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, blocked his selection due to lingering anger among President Barack Obama’s aides over Blumenthal’s role in promoting negative stories about Obama during the Democratic primary…Blumenthal was a full-time employee of the Clinton Foundation from 2009 until 2013 and served as a consultant for the foundation from 2013 until 2015, earning about $10,000 per month.[25][26] Critics charge that Blumenthal’s work at the foundation was inappropriately politically motivated and that during his time at the foundation, he blurred the lines between the foundation and Secretary Clinton’s role as Secretary of State…

Blumenthal currently serves as a consultant to…. the pro-Clinton Super PAC Correct the Record.

Someone/something in the corrupt system had to be propelling him forward.

You don’t go from being a Mayor of small town South Bend, Indiana and wake up one morning and just decide you’re qualified to be president. Now that we know who his handlers are, he must be stopped.

Slimy little rat bastard weasel…he who attends “Stop Bernie” dinners with DC elites.
