And of course, he thinks the progressives will “Tear everything down” and start all over.

Little does he know that 74% approve Medicare for all.

Perhaps he needs to learn to read again.

F the establishment. If we put up a middle of the road establishment politician, we’ll lose AGAIN. They NEVER learn.

I can’t wait to see the grass roots Bernie bus, coming around the corner.

Obama Takes Veiled Shot at Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren: Americans Don’t Want to ‘Tear Down the System and Remake it’

    Sanders 2020

The revolution will "EVENTUALLY" be televised. Wait it out. It's coming soon.
The time is NOW for "Medicare for all" and 'Tuition free college". Vote your conscience and do the right thing.
We may NEVER get this opportunity again. And NEVER is a long ass time.

You know they don’t really want to win. Not that way, at least. Better to lose like in 2004 and 2016 (and 72, 80, 88) than give up the easy money from the MIC and Oligarchs.

Tear it down? Damn straight we want to do so. Tear down the MIC, tear down the Banksters, tear down the giant monoculture Agribiz industries, and most of all tear down the Fossil Fuel industry and its trillions of subsidies killing our planet.

Aww, more bullshit putting together Bernie and Warren.  Maybe the DNC is planning a Vichy Dem nominee with Warren as VP  as a sop to progressives… Nope.

    (Sorry djean, my error) haikugal

I will not vote for a Vichy Dem. Period. As always, I decide who is a Vichy Dem.

My thoughts as well. To that end, I’m nurturing what may be a conspiracy theory in my mind: That the establishment is orchestrating a conflation of Sanders and Warren. Wishing to push the notion in the minds of voters that the two are interchangeable, with the obvious aim of going all in on Warren ( “electable!!!” ) so that she can pull the bait & switch that worked so well for Obama once, once elected.

It’s a wide tapestry of deceit, with lots of well-placed hand-wringing and concern trolling thrown in for good measure. One of the ways I notice are these quasi-false flag, ostensibly objective ( but very specious ) articles: Stuff to the effect, and in practice, if not exact words, like this: ( in so many words )

Warren scaring the shit out of rich asshole Democratic party donors, and rich assholes in general…asking her to tone down her fiery populist rhetoric…” Blah blah blah. As if strategically placed concern trolling in synchronicity is going to establish her progressive bona-fides among Sanders supporters.

It’s all so transparent, and yet the bastards no doubt think they’re the cleverest technocrats ever to hatch out of the establishment nest.

It’s not a “conspiracy theory”, it’s a simple description of things that we all see happening. All available evidence points to that conclusion.

First Clinton , now Obama, do you think Warren might began to realize that the cool kids aren’t into her. Time to make amends and endorse Bernie. Unless she’s cool with giving Biden and Bloomberg some shade.

Obama represents a corrupt, for profit, predatory, healthcare system. A corrupt system by definition cannot sustain itself. Any and all corruption eventually fails. You cannot tweak or improve a corrupt system. Corruption must be torn down, ripped out, and completely eliminated. Tear down the system and replace it? You bet. The sooner the better!

He ran on Hope & Change, then governed with a bait and switch entrenchment of the oligarchy. Some might compare him accurately to a Used Car Salesman (I will stop short of the POS part.)

He defeated HRC in large part due to a grassroots, youth-led ground game. That actual hope morphed into Bernie’s political revolution. He helped form it, now attacks it. He needs to go away.

Bait and switch is a fine way to put it.Talk populist, govern conservative.Jimmy Carter, for all his decency and genuineness, pioneered that approach, and Bill also used it,as did Trump.

Didn’t vote for either Hillary Obama or Barack Clinton in the 2008 primary  Didn’t really see any difference between them.  One was a Vichy New Democrat, and the other one was a Vichy New Democrat.  Voted for Obama in the GE, with a tiny bit of hope he would shock me and go rogue, and not be the Vichy New Democrat dutiful servant of wealthy private interests that I was 99% sure he would be.

He didn’t surprise me in the least, and the Vichy New Democrats got slaughtered across the board in the 2010 elections.

Obama was the king of the meaningless generality. “Hope” and “change” might just as easily have been “corn flakes” and “fritos” for all those catchwords meant. I knew what to expect from the get-go. He was  too polished and smooth to be genuine. Used car salesman on the Cadillac lot. Lots of bells and whistles. Little substance.
