The Price Of Politicians Revealed/Net Neutrality/Police State

    Please watch this

Read the study Roosevelt Institute Fifty Shades of Green

    Fight For Net Neutrality

    https://www.battleforthenet.com/

No one makes it easier to fight for Net Neutrality than Fight For The Future. They even have an auto dialer for you to call your congress critter.

There’s nothing more important than getting money out of politics. Until we do, things like this, “Tulsa cop Betty Jo Shelby found not guilty in death of Terence Crutcher” will continue to happen.

    https://jackpineradicals.com/boards/topic/tulsa-cop-betty-jo-shelby-found-not-guilty-in-death-of-terence-crutcher/

There’s no way this woman would have walked away from murder, free and clear, as almost always happens when a cop murders an unarmed black man, if we weren’t living in a police state. The corporations and oligarchs own our country. The militarized police departments all over the country enforce the rule of corporate law.

This may seem disjointed and all over the place. But it’s really all one thing:

We don’t live in any kind of a democracy because the monied own our country.

    1. More good issues for Democrats.

Too bad so many “Democrats” will come down on the wrong side of net neutrality and police shootings.

      2. It is really so disheartening that so many

so easily sell their souls and our lives

    4. … and then instead of building bridges to bring us together …

… they build WALLS to keep us apart – not exactly how a nation is built and sustainable!

      9. Not at all!

That wall shit is disgusting. Just disgusting

    5. Great report.

We still live in the time where the crooked sheriff does the rich cattle baron’s bidding because that’s who pays him. The result: “Robin Hood in Reverse” is how Jesse Jackson put it.

      10. That's exactly what it is

And, obviously, for most, what they can be paid by the corporatists is worth selling their souls

        15. Remember all that media coverage generated by the Princeton Study?

        Nah, me neither.

The Princeton Study demonstrated Washington has done little but to serve the wealthy, almost exclusively, since Reagan, Congress and the now-Federalist packed courts changed the system for the benefit of the wealthy. And to show how brazen the kleptocrats are, they don’t care if we know or not as there SEEMS to be nothing we can do about it.

          17. Yes, I remember it well!

I thought, for just a moment, this was going to be that study. I thought, “new??”

Thank you so much. That’s an honor coming from you!

      13. Exactly. It's like one of the old movie Westerns where the whole town is

irredeemably corrupt. Problem is, we don’t have anyone riding to the rescue.

        14. Maybe political scientists can do some more science…

…like when the biologists put tracking devices on endangered species. To follow politicians’ behavior:

Put one of these on Mitch McConnell and his cohorts and monitor their contacts, whereabouts and behavior when they’re out of the public eye.

Are seen as the real enemy to Democracy, nothing will change.
