At least a couple of times between tonight and tomorrow morning.
Do not be alarmed. This is only a test. And a major upgrade and a minor downgrade.
You get a tree and you lose your emojii’s.
Blame Deadpool. Even though he had nothing to do with it. Just don’t blame me. I’m old and decrepit.
still can’t spell shit…..
How the hell do you spell emojii’s????
Never mind. Forget I asked…. Soon we won’t have the critters anyway…

Hi @pam2 , this is a discussion tree….
As you know, we are using a site style that has indented replies, called nested display. That’s so users can see how a conversation takes place, and whether or not a really hot side topic is happening. So, you get lost real quickly if the discussion takes off or you get a bunch of replies to the topic and the discussion tree is a title and user graphic that is placed below the topic text like this:
That is a tree of a discussion we were using to test the development of the code to make it. The left hand column has the title to the reply and if you click on it, you will be taken directly to that reply where it is posted. The right hand column is the author of the reply, and if you click on it, you are taken directly to that members profile.
This tree will appear after the text portion of a topic before the admin links for every topic. So, when you open a topic, this tree will be at the bottom of the topic itself and you can see what the replies look like, and/or click on one of them to join in on the conversation, or i you prefer, you can just go ahead and click on the reply button like usual and make your own first level reply, which will be added to the discussion tree. In fact, ALL replies will go into the tree.
You notice that this means that all replies have titles after this. So you gotta make a title up for any reply. Each reply is given a unique url so in the near future you can get notices of replies to your posts and the link will be directly to that reply, not the topic where you have to scroll thru it like we have to now…
That’s gotta wait for donations……

You think you’re old! How about some speed in this site? I can brush my teeth, read the Sunday NYT including the comics and other things in-between the page changes.

Thanks for the heads-up.
Destruction is easy; creation is hard, but more interesting.

Is there any chance we’ll have a “greatest” feature again? I really miss that one.

No emoji? OMG!
I would like to remind you that U.S. health insurance companies do not contribute anything to health care. They are only a PARASITIC middle man receiving an undeserved cut of "FREE MONEY".
