Oregonlive (the Oregonian’s online publication) posted a poll asking which candidates performed the best in last night’s debate (https://www.oregonlive.com/news/2019/10/who-won-octobers-democratic-presidential-debate-vote-here.html).

    I found the results interesting:

Kamala Harris:  did well – 20.3%, did poorly – 79.7%

Julian Castro:  did well – 19.2%, did poorly – 80.8%

Cory Booker:  did well – 28.6%, did poorly – 71.4%

Bernie Sanders:  did well – 52.8%, did poorly – 47.2%

Joe Biden:  did well – 25.8%, did poorly – 74.2%

Elizabeth Warren:  did well – 31.5%, did poorly – 68.5%

Pete Buttigieg:  did well – 48.3%, did poorly – 51.7%

    Beto O’Rourke:  did well – 15.0%, did poorly – 85.0%

Amy Klobuchar:  did well – 41.0%, did poorly – 59.0%

Andrew Yang:  did well – 55.5%, did poorly – 44.5%

Tulsi Gabbard: did well – 55.9%, did poorly – 44.1%

Tim Steyer:  did well – 26.3%, did poorly – 73.7%

Tulsi Gabbard, surprisingly, is polling the best.  Andrew Yang came in a close second.  Bernie bests most of the field.

The DNC gets the sad trombone, as their darlings are taking it on the chin.

The poll is not scientific, and really only reflects the opinions of a pretty specific group of people.  But it’s interesting, at least.

    55% tops. Wow. Portland’s a tough crowd.

If you take a casual glance at the comments on most Oregonian stories, they are infested by right-wing trolls.  It must be considered that a good chunk of the poll results are not from liberals, progressives, or even Democrats.

I did not watch the circus show.  I thought that Warren would get the most minutes and Gabbard the least with Sanders somewhere in the middle.  Exactly what happened.  I found that Steyer was lower than Gabbard.

Damned shame about Tulsi’s position on Authentic Medicare for All.

I would like to remind you that U.S. health insurance companies do not contribute anything to health care. They are only a PARASITIC middle man receiving an undeserved cut of "FREE MONEY".
