      1. In all honesty I chuckled on that. Poor Lindsey will soon find he is nothing,

less than nothing. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

        26. I can't stop seeing Jon Stewart anytime Lindsey Graham comes up, lol:

Not the very best quality but interestingly enough, all the ones that used to be around on YouTube appear to have been deleted.  Not much left to pick from now.  MISS YOU JON!!!

          34. Love this.

That’s a gem!  It encapsulates Graham perfectly.

          A great laugh.

      4. I enjoyed Trump's crack about Graham.

      It was well deserved.

I don’t think anyone should have to take the crap the media dishes out, or the crap the likes of Graham or McCain dishes out.

The question we should all ponder is,..can a ‘thin-skinned’ Trump be provoked into war?….

          14. I doubt it,Trump is trying to establish friendly relationships w other countries

          like Russia, unlike Obama.

As we speak Obama has managed to be provoked into bombing 7 countries.

            20. Other than Russia and Israel Trump is not improving relations with any country.

Improving relations with two countries but not the other 200+ is hardly a great foreign policy.

FDR stood for high/progressive taxes, tight regulation of corporations, effective legislation to support strong unions, a strong safety net, fiscal policy that supports full employment rather than austerity, engagement with the rest of the world in terms of trade and diplomacy and the Four Freedoms. Bernie supports the same issues plus an understanding of the danger posed by climate change. Count me as an FDR/Bernie liberal.

              23. Hold your breath Trump hasn't even taken office yet.

Actually what Trump has communicated to Russia is huge given Russia is one of only a handful of super powers in the world. Furthermore Russia has enough nuclear bombs to kill everyone in this country and everything in it.

So Trump trying to reopen a positive relationship is not only great foreign policy, it is critical foreign policy.

                  28. How do you define presidential?

Perpetual bombing over the last 8 years?  The destruction of at least 2 MidEastern countries just in the last couple years?

I think the poster is just fine with the perpetual bombing, as long as the person is “presidential”.

                35. A "positive relationship" with Russia is PART of a "great foreign policy".

Having a “positive” relationship with China, Iran, Mexico and the rest of the world is an even bigger part of a “great foreign policy”.

The US and Russia make up 7% of the world’s population. The 93% are important too even if they are not ‘blessed’ with the ability to kill the planet.

FDR stood for high/progressive taxes, tight regulation of corporations, effective legislation to support strong unions, a strong safety net, fiscal policy that supports full employment rather than austerity, engagement with the rest of the world in terms of trade and diplomacy and the Four Freedoms. 22. Trump is a xenophobic hot-head.

I wouldn’t look for any meaningful peace overtures from his wingnut administration. The US power structure has a definite violent streak, no matter which party dominates.

        9. Thanks

you made me laugh again.  The first time was when Trump said it.  I’m sorry, I know everyone thinks he has a thin skin. Maybe so, but it is so very delightful to be able to see someone poke that fucker in the eye by someone who has the media’s attention.

I guess you can tell I’m pissed – I have nothing left worthy of saying on the matter.  Truth speaks for itself.

It seems to me that being against Trump is the ultimate get out of jail free card. It doesn’t seem to matter  to some that is the person is a neocon warmonger like Lindsey Graham., as long as the person is against Trump..Trump is an asshole, but we need to think about who we accept as allies.
