For all the current difficulties JPR 3.0 is having, SFFH assured me (as these issues are identified) that we gonna be working this poo poo out thru the holidays until the culprit code is found and burned at the stake.
In the spirit of Christmas Story, which we will see a million times during this holiday… We won’t shoot our eyes out with our Red Rider Bee Bee Gun and we’ll get there, you guys.

I know it’s frustrating, but we’ll get there. Have patience people. We are are stronger when we stick together, and if a glitchy new website is causing people to lose it, then we’ve got bigger problems.

I feel much better since I gave up hope.

Yay!
I would like to remind you that U.S. health insurance companies do not contribute anything to health care. They are only a PARASITIC middle man receiving an undeserved cut of "FREE MONEY".

There should be a Word Press support forum for those that have to wrangle their software.
“Hi, I’m xxxx, and I work at jackpineradicals.com”
“Hello xxxx!”
“My troubles started when I began to saw the hue and cry from those not able to post”
<heads nod>
” I hear that!”
“Preach it baby!”

possess it if you can,

never been able to incorporate a item into my original post but that is because at the age of 77 I do not know how and think I am too old to learn. So you are fine by me.

Does the a reply driven by two boxes, go? Can the program be confused by the two boxes and begin to circle in the hamsters wheel? Are some of my replies still circling there?
No need to reply as I should take this to Q & A.
Then there is the emoji issue. If I post an emoji from below the text box, the reply goes through. My emoji selection is somehow connected to the text box and drives the reply through another carrier pathway that is not stopped by a middleman.
I am choosing an emoji that is represented by  Lets see if two emojis appear in the posted reply. By the way, this text box has no cancel button below the text box.

And, this seems to be a work in progress. Good idea to submit to Q&A.

It’s certainly loading faster!

OK I’m in. Fortunately my lover has been teaching me the value of patience .. can you imagine .. at the ripe old age of 75, still needing to learn to value patience.

One thing at a time has to be changed and then tested. The IT types have to figure out which plug-ins do exactly what, for example, and the only way to do that is to thoroughly and painstakingly test one at a time. It’s kind of like those chemistry experiments I hated doing back in the day because I’ve never been a scientist.
I did take Philosophy of Science, though, starting with the ancient Greeks and going all the way through the manned space program, so I at least understand the concept of the scientific method. We now have what they call a control group and a test, or experimental group.
None of us know how long it will take before we get a site that works for everyone like we want it to, but we will get there.

What exactly does this post mean? Other than you see yourself as an educated man.
Who is in the test group and who is the control group?
i am certain there was some information I this post, other than “hey I rock and someday it willl be fixed. “

(I’m sure more person than I have noticed that each posts’ subject line is missing!) I’ll put it simply, which is MY speed, WHMR…
We (moderators) are working with the administrators and a few persons expert in coding to identify, then address the problems inherent with JPR 3.0 at a mirror site that has been set up for de-bugging. Only when all the errors (because of the formatting in WordPress and other coding things of which I have no expertise) are de-bugged (and they will be) can we apply the fixes to THIS site. There are a lot of improvements, but a few which require nothing but patience are not yet fixed.

Still unable to create an original topic.
Perhaps it is because I put a picture or a twitter link.
Not quite sure what is going on. Either way, I am mostly lurking till things settle. Hopefully by mid-year?

Sending a PM to ask for specifics….
Rest assured we have a programmer (a REALLY GREAT one) working on this site and 4.0. He has already solved some problems and we are very confident he will be able to fix them all. The problems are being found with some of the plugins that are necessary to have certain features. I too cannot post from Twitter for some reason but Imgur works great for posting photos. It won’t be much longer now—thanks for your patience.

I can see the progress you have made. Having taken a time out I have recovered from my frustration. Keep up the good work!
