An MP has taken aim at Foreign Office minister Alan Duncan over the Institute of Statecraft and demanded a probe into a Scottish-based black ops Twitter attack on Labour.
An MP has accused Foreign Office minister Alan Duncan of misleading Parliament over a Government-funded infowars unit that attacked the Labour Party. Chris Williamson made the claim after an urgent debate in the House of Commons sparked by the Sunday Mail’s exclusive report on shadowy Scottish “charity” the Institute for Statecraft (IfS).
The organisation – run by military intelligence experts – is now being probed by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR). Labour want a full independent investigation and the Tories claim they are reviewing its social media policies.

And don’t forget the gas lighting.
We are an arrogant species, believing our fantasy based "facts" are better than the other person's fake facts.
If you are wrong, it will be because you are not cynical enough.
Both major political parties are special interest groups enabling each other for power and money, at the expense of the people they no longer properly serve…

Integrity Initiative: How Media Promote Military Intelligence Propagandist Nimmo
https://sputniknews.com/europe/201901031071174759-nimmo-integrity-initiative-propagandist/
Excerpt – A bid for Ministry of Defence funding submitted by the Integrity Initiative to the UK Ministry of Defence in 2017 lists a “tougher stance in government policy towards Russia” and “more information published in the media on the threat of Russian active measures” as key performance indicators for the organization.
To achieve this end, the Institute via its Initiative is amassing ‘clusters’ the world over — groups of politicians, businesspeople, military officials, academics and journalists — who “understand the threat posed to Western nations” by Russian “disinformation” and can be mobilized to influence policy in support of the “Anglo-Saxon worldview”, and against the interests of the Russian state.

1992: abused a law whereby his neighbour could buy a council house (with money Duncan had lent him) and three years later this neighbour sold it to him VERY cheaply. This meant he could take a house meant for people on social security, get it into private hands, and then claim it at a discount.
Duncan had to resign from a committee over that.
2009: had to pay back substantial sums for improper allowances claims on his second home.
Duncan was demoted in the shadow cabinet for that.
2011: as trade minister, he used his contacts in the oils world to cut Ghaddafi (in Tripoli) off from oil supplies, diverting them to Benghazi.
He is an important member of Le Cercle, a rather sectretive foreign policy forum.
After the Panama papers, he said of David Cameron’s critics: “They should admit that their real point is that they hate anyone who has got a hint of wealth in them.”
And: “We risk seeing a House of Commons which is stuffed full of low-achievers.”
<hr />
Which is why he went on to smear Corbyn?
