Despite being conducted by Frank Luntz, this Post-Debate Focus Group was a very revealing snapshot of California voters:
– Bernie Sanders was the debate winner (per 60% of the group), even though only 6 of the group originally intended to vote for Bernie.
– Bernie ‘not only has passion to win’ but he has the character ‘to stand up for the people as he has for 40 years’.
However, many have still been snowed into thinking that ‘we need a moderate’ to win over middle America?
Both Bernie and Trump are credited as being populists. One as the voice of the people’s passion and care, the other as a voice of the people’s anger and derision. Given the choice, why would anyone vote for the latter?

As is intended, a LOT of the 2020 election campaign is merely Trump!!!! The DNC is, IMO, quite looking forward to throwing Bernie and the issues that would help us peasants under the bus. And hoping the peasants will vote against Trump and ignore the scaly greedy ass of today’s Democratic Party.
