<p class=”zn-body__paragraph speakable”><cite class=”el-editorial-source”>Washington (CNN)</cite>President Donald Trump is expected to propose extending protections for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipients and individuals with Temporary Protected Status in exchange for border wall funding in his remarks Saturday afternoon, a source familiar with the matter confirmed to CNN.</p>
<div class=”zn-body__paragraph speakable”>The President’s latest offer, which he is set to deliver from the White House Saturday at 4 p.m. ET, will link his demand for $5.7 billion for a border wall to the BRIDGE Act, legislation that would extend protections for so-called “Dreamers,” undocumented immigrants who arrived in the US as children and are covered by the DACA program.</div>
<div class=”zn-body__paragraph speakable”>The compromise proposal would also allow immigrants covered by Temporary Protected Status — some of whose protections Trump has rescinded — to remain in the country.</div>
I feel much better since I gave up hope.

Nyet. Pelosi should bang her shoe, reject the deal, and quote Khrushchev.

This time the Dems can’t go along with Don because “public opinion” backs him.

Counter offer should be to build a nice wall around San Antonio, which the president seems to think has a wall that works wonders. San Antonio has no wall, of course, since it’s 200 miles from the border.

Maybe authorize using the funds for the war in Syria in exchange for DACA and use them for border patrol. Then the next President can transfer the troops and use them for riot control when he declares martial law. win-win.

Wow! So this is how he does business? Removes or destroys things and then comes back with “I will offer this and that to you”??????? And as if anyone should even believe that! Just wow. What a slime bag.
He is not going have much of anything as a bargaining chip in regards to the Planet soon.
