Trump just shared his whistleblower's identity, breaking democratic protocol

Following in his son Donald Trump Jr.’s footsteps, the President shared his whistleblower’s name, threatening the government official’s safety.
Not long after United States President Donald Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. shared the infamous Ukraine whistleblower’s name, the President himself has followed suit. You know what they say, right? Like son, like father. The President took to Twitter on yet another one of his ranty days in order to share an article that mentioned the whistleblower’s name. The article was shared in the midst of several other posts, all equally egregious. Perhaps the most shocking part of this whole affair is that no major news publication is calling the President out for clearly breaking democratic protocol. After all, the country’s protections for whistleblowers are one of the fundamental protections of its democracy as well.
Is Democracy dead yet?

HUH? WTF? SINCE WHEN?!!!!
Those days are long gone and ended with President Drone Hope and Change. NO ONE can use that as an excuse anymore. Snowden? Manning? Assange? If you don’t want demented Orange Man to endanger a whistleblower, perhaps it’s time to stop being hypocritical and start defending 3 whistleblowers who are currently being persecuted.
I HATE THIS HYPOCRITICAL SHIT. Bad!!!!! if Trump violates laws. Good!!!!! If President Drone Hope and Change and Biden violate laws.
Shit…it makes my head explode.

When considering whether or not Trump broke the law, I don’t care too much about what Obama did. It is relevant that Obama made life very difficult for whistleblowers, so he aided and abetted Trump in an effort to preserve his precious legacy. But I get your point about those who excused Obama for everything, and now want Trump held to account every time he farts.

The point is this: THE LAW NO LONGER APPLIES.
You can say, oh, he broke the law. And that’s true. But there will be no penalty for it, not even from his opponents, becuase they do the same thing. it’s a dead law, it has no meaning, at least not for those with the power to actually violate it.

And that’s why they rely on, ” No fair….WHATABOUTISM!!!” as a partisan get out of jail free card to counter everything.
Making it unacceptable to talk about anything that happened before January 2017 is just an attempt to hide the fact that, more often than not, it’s not what Trump does that they oppose, but that he is the one doing it.

Sorry, my cherry-picked selective outrage app is not working. Maybe Snowden or Manning can fix it? Thought not. IMO, if one applies the law selectively, that is corrupt and makes a joke of the law. Perhaps justice is blindfolded because it cannot bear to look.
Democracy has been dead for a long long time. Best not to invoke it at this point. IMO and all that. Would take a Ouija board or something.

Trump said it? Who believes Trump?
I feel much better since I gave up hope.

As the whistleblower’s name was already out in the right wing press it’s not earth shattering.
Still he knew he was breaking the law when he did it but he did it anyways….
