We should have some of the weirdness fixed by tomorrow. We will have to take the site down for a few hours first. We will let you know when asap. In the meantime, you still need to have text in both the title bar and textbox. Thank you for your patience

      2. Pence comes across as scarily normal

      Media bias

      Fake news

Gets half hearted applause (which journos would applaud that?!)

        67. Journalists were not clapping, Trump brought some of his fanboys

to the “press conference” to cheer for him because his ego is so weak and he can’t do anything without some toothless lackeys clapping wildly and cheering his name.  He probably plays videos of his rallies in his bathroom just so he can take a chit.

            72. Yes! Trump is every single thing that was wrong with Clinton x10000^10

More bald-face lying (who thought that was possible?)

            More secrecy

            More nepotism

More Goldman Sachs (again, who thought that was possible?)

            More generals

            More oil company frack-holes

            More scandals

            More lobbyists

            More 1% oligarchs

but he is open about his motivations. hillary lies and lies and lies and kills millions of people – & thinks nothing of it – in fact, laughs about it.

                75. Doesn't matter now, does it. We're stuck with Trump

and for many of us with vulnerable family, he is a monster.  The nightmare is already beginning and I think it can only get worse very quickly.

        14. They all do that now.

Here’s Obama and Cameron with a bevy of flags:

        Hillary and all her flags:

And they all wear those flag pins. The president can, as commander in chief, wear one and any member or veteran of the armed services, but average people, under the US Flag Code, aren’t supposed to.

        56. That is not what he said

He said that if his sons do a bad job of running the Trump businesses, that they would be fired at the end of his term.  He also said if they do  a good job he would congratulate them.  He said nothing in regard to firing the Press.

In fact, when questioned by a reporter at the PC about what to do with journalists and fake news, he said it wasn’t his job to come up with a solution, but that journalists should be honest and moral.

I’m not crazy about Trump (put a big fat period here).  But we don’t need to look like idiots by misquoting, starting internet rumors, and making JPR look like children throwing shit around to see what sticks, or we will never be taken seriously.  That in itself  will hurt our ability to be relevant.  That we cannot afford anymore,  the DNC did a good enough job of making us irrelevant already. Let’s be truth sayers and adults.

          61. Thanks. Tbh, that last part was very convoluted

I am stunned @ the word salad.

ETA: Here’s the last statements from Trump where he critiques the media, takes a random slam @ HRC, talks @ global respect before jumping to his sons:

TRUMP: He shouldn’t be doing it. He won’t be doing it. Russia will have much greater respect for our country when I’m leading it than when other people have led it. You will see that. Russia will respect our country more. He shouldn’t have done it. I don’t believe he will be doing it more now. We have to work something out. But it’s not just Russia.

Take look at what’s happened. You don’t report it the same way. (Indicating the media). Twenty-two million accounts were hacked in this country by China. And that’s because we have no defense. That’s because we’re run by people that don’t know what they’re doing. Russia will have far greater respect for our country when I’m leading it. And I believe — and I hope, maybe it won’t happen, it’s possible, but I won’t be given a little reset button like Hillary.

Press this piece of plastic. The guy looked at her like, what is she doing? There’s no reset button. (I have no idea why he put this in here or what it refers to). We’re either going to get along or we’re not. I hope we get along. But if not, that’s possible, too. But Russia and other countries and other countries including China, which has taken total advantage of us economically, totally advantage of us in the South China Sea by building their massive fortress, total. Russia, China, Japan, Mexico, all countries will respect us far more, far more than they do under past administrations.

I want to thank everybody. So this is all — just so you understand, these papers, because I’m not sure that was explained properly. These papers are all just a piece of the many, many companies that are being put into trust to be run by my two sons and I hope at the end of eight years I’ll come back and I’ll say, “Oh, you did a good job.” Otherwise, if they do a bad job, I’ll say, you’re fired. Goodbye, everybody. Goodbye.

            65. He does jump around

and it is hard sometimes to follow what he’s talking about.  It would be to our benefit to listen carefully.  He’s making a lot of promises.  We better listen well so we hold his feet to the fire.  He’s promised the Republican voters that same thing, which makes it possible to have alliances from the other side fighting him too when he doesn’t live up to the rhetoric.

IOW, we better be on our toes and not playing the hair on fire game like the freepers did with Obama and the SVers are doing now.  That’s a loosing game and I’m sick and tired of it.  It’s stealing our power.

              thank you.

jpr would benefit from an op outlining “holding his feet and the gop congress feet to the fire” as you suggest – and as bernie is doing. if we are going to keep the ship from capsizing, we must pay attention and consider everything as a means &  keep our eyes on the prize & not be distracted by the drama & by pettiness.

          58. I am stunned at whatever the fuck that TV event was. I have never seen such a

petty idiot who is incapable of expressing himself being given a national stage to spew his stupidity on.

The last time America was run like a business, we ended up with a Great Depression.
