“Among the loan recipients, 48,922 reported “0” as the number of jobs they would retain with the money & 40,506 appeared to leave that blank. 10 other companies received between $5 million & $10 million but reported retaining only 1 job with the money.”

A prominent Delaware law firm founded by presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden received a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan for between $150,000 and $350,000, according to records released Monday by the Treasury Department and the Small Business Administration.
The Trump campaign told Fox News that the records conflict with recent messaging from the Biden campaign that the PPP is both ineffective and a vehicle to reward Trump “cronies.”
Bet this doesn’t get mentioned on MSDNC or SV….

Just who’s paycheck is being protected here? It sure as hell isn’t any of the “0” employees that these companies are retaining as a result of their loan for millions of dollars… maybe its just in case? Maybe all these millions are somehow going to stimulate the economy and trickle down to us poor fuckers? Huh, really doesn’t look that way does it? Seems to me, that most of the people mentioned here probably have a majority of their funds invested, so they pay less taxes than someone who works for a living, assuming they pay any at all. Ah… come to think of it, that is kind of par for the course isn’t it? Throwing hundreds of billions at Wall Street. God Save the Rich, or something.

A few days ago an event venue in business for many years in my town shut its doors after filing for bankruptcy. The owner explained that the business generated no income the past few months and she had no choice. No government help was forthcoming at all and those under deposit for future events are out of luck and their money. The wealthy fuckers using this pandemic as an excuse to further line their pockets ought to be tied up, frog marched out, and publicly flogged within an inch of their lives. In this shitty country the masses continue to be thrown a few table scraps while the elite feast. It’s criminal.
