Does Bernie Sanders really want this Fox News host as his champion?

For most of the day on Wednesday, #CNNisTrash was among the top trending topics on Twitter thanks to Bernie Sanders supporters unhappy with the way their candidate was treated at the previous night’s debate. Fox News host Tucker Carlson is right there with them.

Carlson opened his show Wednesday night by warning of the “chaos” that will ensue in the Democratic Party if Sanders gets the presidential nomination this summer. If the Vermont senator does win the primary, Carlson said it will have “all started” at the Des Moines debate when CNN President Jeff Zucker “decided to destroy the Sanders for President campaign.”

The host went on to argue that Zucker is working on behalf of the “Democratic establishment, which has dispatched him to crush Bernie Sanders before he can take control of the party.”

His evidence had something to do with the story that CNN reported before the debate about an alleged 2018 conversation in which Sanders told Elizabeth Warren he doesn’t believe a female candidate can beat Trump. Carlson accused CNN of running the story “without any proof at all,” apparently discounting their multiple unnamed sources.

“Sanders denied that charge vigorously,” Carlson said, “but the message was unmistakable and crystal clear: ‘He’s a sexist, don’t vote for him!’” He also criticized “Zucker’s hand-selected moderator” Abby Phillips for not taking Sanders’ denial at face value. “Just more ‘journalism’ from our friends on cable news,” he added without any sense of irony.

I hate the headline and the overall way the article is written. People were happy when Tucker criticized Trump over Iran so sometimes a broken clock is right twice a day and all that. You also can’t expect Fox to not jump on a competitor’s mistakes. The only thing I care about this it improves Bernie Sanders among his conservative audience to get those much needed votes in a general election.

Tucker Carlson is wrong 99.999999999% of the time, but I certainly don’t need a tabloid with Princess Chelsea on it’s board of directors to tell me that.

FAUX. CNN. The Daily Beast. All of them are shitty excuses for media.

I didn't refuse to vote for Hillary Clinton because any goddamned Russian told me to. I refused to vote for her because she is a warmongering, election stealing, Goldman Sachs fellating, Republican WHORE. No offense to sex workers.

Doubt he’s for Bernie – he’s just against CNN.  He’s  pretending his reasons are the same as ours…

The Communications Union settlement that Bernie praised Of course! No wonder. Now we have solid explanations for their ‘agenda’ – Wench Warren had plummeted in the polls and CNN lost a Union fight and $76 million that Bernie praised the Union for. #BoycottCNN

Except Tucker thinks we’re stupid and didn’t already know CNN was an ARM of the DNC propaganda network. Come on Tucker.

The Daily Beast article is pathetically recycled Hillbot identity politics combined with guilt by association. If Tucker Carlson on Fox says it, it must be a lie. Really? Like when Carlson condemned the assassination of Soleimani just a few weeks ago? Or when he advocated against war with Iran after the drone was shot down? Was Tucker lying then, Daily Beast and anyone else peddling this absurd smear?

Probably for the Daily Beast he was, since most liberal ID politics types have MIC stock portfolios and had no problem with Obama destroying Libya or assisting Al-Qaeda in Syria because Assad is such a nasty, nasty man who gassed his own people even though there’s no hard evidence he did.

Just because someone on Fox says it doesn’t mean it’s a lie, any more than just because CNN or MSNBC say it doesn’t mean it’s true. What rot.

Say it again Ohio!!!!!! I now listen to a whole variety of news some more conservative then myself some really liberal some in the middle. I don’t buy anything right off the bat but Tucker and Ron Paul have been right on about the US warmongering.  The left msm has turned into a horrific hate fest.

MSNBC,CNN NPR ABC, NYT,WP. I used too feel about fox what i feel about the so called left media. Now Tucker has more credibility then any of them do.

At least Fox will calls out their competition as any responsible news organization should do. Granted 99% of the time it’s pure bullshit but at least they are not afraid to do it. Fox called the election for Bush over Gore. What did the competition do? Did they fulfill their journalistic responsibilities? Did they call out Fox. Did they call bullshit? Not a chance.

Any right wing narrative, talking point, or outright lie promoted on Fox the rest of the MSM will accept and promote as gospel without question. The Dean scream being a perfect example.
