It’s on Twitter and I can’t post it here, but I saw the video. It’s downright repulsive. I just lost all respect for Tulsi.

      Oh, here’s a link:

I had to turn it off mid stream.  Our last hope — gone.  Well, at least we can help Bernie with ideas and plans per his email this morning — send thoughts, plans and suggestions to plan@berniesanders.com

We will get through all of this and be better for it!

      Hi ob,

Between events of 2016 and now 2020, my personal antipathy and disgust for American politics and Neo-Liberal economic policy has grown stronger.  It is clear that my remaining lifetime will see no substantive changes in politics or economics short of societal collapse or physical revolution.  Creeping incrementalism will just not enable the changes necessary to benefit the greater good anytime soon.  This recent development serves to cement and reinforce these perspectives and further distance oneself from the body politic.  As has been said before, this citizen’s country of indoctrination is no more and wishing it would return is a fool’s errand.

      Hi ob,

This thread was highlighted at SV.  Interesting how their worldview is so warped and demented.  But then the SV poster is a well known Bernie antagonist.

I suppose Bernie is next, hope not, but there ya go – and then – no supposing here, just certainty – I am done with the 2020 election except for my actual Green vote.  No point in even discussing or dissecting or complaining.  Cheat, rig, smear, manipulate, fraud.  The DNC is proud of that.   Since I live in Florida, I sincerely doubt I will have a progressive to vote for down-ticket.  And that is Debbie DNC at work, not Floridians.  But I will check that out.

To those who plan to give an oily “do the right thing” bullshit directive – voting for Joe Biden is most decidedly not doing the right thing.  Disgusting, really.  Not gonna argue or debate – how anyone can look at his record and not find him disgusting is beyond me.  As Nelly sings, “must be the money”.

Everything I post is just my opinion, and, honestly, I would love to be wrong.

Just lost my respect, too.  I cant help but wonder what Biden promised her.  If it is anything but VP – then I have to wonder what the hell?  In a way, that would make some sense.  Maybe.  I dont know.

Already moved to unaffiliated. Moving to Green. Will still support the occasional progressive  Democrat that might make it through. But done generally.

..how can she really believe the voters have chosen Dementia Joe? Sickening. Jimmy Dore is going to stroke out when he hears this.

While Tulsi always talked a good game in terms of foreign policy, she always came across as the deceptive type to me. It’s probably because she seems to have this permanent smirk on her face all the time, like you can’t really believe what she’s saying, like there’s a hidden agenda and she doesn’t really believe what she’s saying. Her endorsing an outright bigot and warmonger like Joe Biden is completely opposed to everything she’s painted herself out to be and it’s why I personally dismissed her months ago.

Ultimately, she’s still a Democrat and she chose loyalty to her party over loyalty to her own professed moral convictions. The neoliberal Boomers are relishing her weak capitulation and Gabbard apparently doesn’t care how it makes her look to those who’ve supported her.

I don’t think I will listen to the video of her endorsement. But can’t quite figure it out. My understanding is she isn’t running again so why the collapse? I assumed everyone else was promised something. Ha, although I will probably vote Green I’m actually thinking of voting for Trump simply because of my hatred for the Democratic Party. But with all the crap he’s going to do in the next 4 years I don’t want to end up kicking myself after voting for him. So will probably vote Green. Doesn’t matter anyway.

Staying in the race long after she stopped registering in the polls rather than getting out of the way and endorsing Sanders. Red.

Based on her actions in 2016 and her antiwar cred, I somewhat reluctantly gave her the benefit of the doubt overall, under the assumption that she was at least sincerely against establishment politics, and you have to take what you can get in this environment.

Traitor: Today, I’ve made the decision to suspend my campaign for the presidency.

      Here’s why:

      Watch here: tulsi.to/announcement

Our nation is facing an unprecedented global crisis that highlights the inextricable bonds of humanity, and how foreign policy and domestic policy are inseparable. We are all in this together and we must all rise to meet this moment — in service to our country and our fellow man.

This is not the first time we have faced adversity together. And it will not be the last.

After the terrorist attack by al-Qaeda on our country on 9/11, we stood together as Americans, motivated to serve, marshaling our forces to defeat our common enemy. I and so many others enlisted in the military to do just that. Likewise today, as Americans and all of humanity, we face a common enemy. It is once again time, as Americans and as neighbors in this global community, that we stand together, and work hand in hand to defeat this new enemy — the coronavirus.

Throughout my life, and this campaign, my motivation has been to serve God, our country, and the American people as best I can. I feel that the best way I can be of service at this time is to continue to work for the health and wellbeing of the people of Hawaii and our country in Congress, and to stand ready to serve in uniform should the Hawaii National Guard be activated.

After Tuesday’s primary results, it is clear that Democratic Primary voters have chosen Vice President Joe Biden to be the person who will take on President Trump in the general election.

I know Vice President Biden and his wife and am grateful to have called his son Beau, who also served in the National Guard, a friend. Although I may not agree with the Vice President on every issue, I know that he has a good heart and is motivated by his love for our country and the American people. I’m confident that he will lead our country guided by the spirit of aloha — respect and compassion — and thus help heal the divisiveness that has been tearing our country apart.

Today, I’m suspending my presidential campaign, and offering my full support to Vice President Joe Biden in his quest to bring our country together.

I will continue to advocate for a 21st century foreign policy. One based on mutual respect and cooperation instead of confrontation, where we as a community of nations can work together to overcome the challenges that our people face — preventing and stopping pandemics like the coronavirus now affecting all of us, tackling climate change, combatting terrorism, and removing the existential threat of nuclear war which hangs over all our heads. I will continue to do everything I can to help bring an end to the new Cold War and nuclear arms race, and end regime change wars, which are costing us trillions of dollars, so we can invest these precious resources in the needs of the American people — health care, rebuilding our infrastructure, education, and so much more.

I want to extend my best wishes to my friends Senator Bernie Sanders, his wife Jane, Nina Turner and their many supporters for the work they’ve done. I have a great appreciation for Senator Sanders’ love for our country and the American people and his sincere desire to improve the lives of all Americans.

To the many people across our country who dedicated their time, energy, and resources to my campaign, working tirelessly to get our message out, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I look forward to speaking to you more in the coming days about why I made this decision, and how we can continue to work together for our common cause.

Thank you for standing with me. I will always have your back.

      With warmest aloha,

Hell, no... I'm not giving up...

I have not been a fan of Tulsi’s for a very long while now.

To me she has not been convincing.

I would like to remind you that U.S. health insurance companies do not contribute anything to health care. They are only a PARASITIC middle man receiving an undeserved cut of "FREE MONEY".

In fact, there was a (very short) time when I preferred her to Bernie. Dropping out is one thing, but endorsing Biden?

Spud Demon you are responsible for a sloppy keyboard.

At least she didn’t back Trump. How much you want to bet Biden says something soothing and complimentary about Trump once he’s secured the Dem nomination? You know how he just loves to reach across the aisle.

I never understood the support for her here. She has always been an opportunist.
